// PM sent.

Dorian is full of expectation about this trip. He's not entirely sure why. Maybe something will be revealed about his god's.... not absence... unresponsiveness maybe. That devil dealer had never got back to him, which was an annoyance. Maybe this road would provide enlightenment.

He looks to the others: "Are you ready? Shall we depart? I see no need to delay"

He sizes them up behind his mask. Which of them are useful? Which of them are expendable? Perhaps most importantly, are their souls their own? That was another problem in Sigil. Sacrifice someone, only to find their soul flies off to some fixed destination, their soul already spoken for, regardless of what spells are woven around it. Most frustrating.

-Oh I can see a multitude of reasons. But none truley matter. *he chuckled mirthfully donning his blackend iron mask before he pulled his hood over his head* Rodrick Fen is ready. *he said in an altered voice*

The three doomguard stand equipped and ready, they are as united in purpose as a group of doomguard will ever be. All that remains to be seen is how they plan on traveling.

Dorian heads round to the Armoury stables and confers with the stablehand. He asks for an old nag that is due to go to the knackers yard and whispers a while with the stablehand, before handing over some coins.

The stablehand then makes himself scarce.

Dorian steps up to the mare, speaking calm words, and he slips a knife under the jaw and into the brain of the beast.

Blood sprays out of the wound, but Dorian is experienced at sacrifices, the blood mainly misses him, just a few splatters on his boots.

As the mare drops, he puts a black Onyx (25GP assuming its a level 1 horse) in its eye and incants a prayer (Animate Dead).

The body of the horse starts to shudder and shake, and slowly the skin and organs start to sluice off the body, until all this is left is the bones, a skeletal horse standing before him.

Dorian fetches a saddle, makes some adjustments to it, based on old knowledge of riding such undead beasts (see Dorian's background for more info, there is a rather massive thread on it), and the mounts to return to the others to see how they plan on travelling.

saka looks at the skeletal horse and rise a brow. didnt know they had a stable at the armory 'till now.
''hm...'' mumbles, she doesnt really want to emulate dorian by getting a mount herself. but nonetheless she goes peeking in those armory stables...

As Saka heads into the stables she would find it as one expects. Straw, horses and a stable hand. This being sigil and horses not being of much use here many of the stalls are empty and the animals that are there are in poor condition.

she grimaces, fought by the idea of getting a dieing horse so to beat it 'till its decay is fulfilled or just look for something else. she then speaks anyone who could hear her
''hey! where can i get a flying carpet or something akin to that?''

The rather sullen looking stable hand replies to her in a perfect dead pan tone.

"City of Brass probably."
