Sigil: City of Doors

A thread for chant and rumors within the Doomguard, passed between members and whispered within the walls of the Armory. This is an IC-based rumor thread specifically for Sinker use by PCs, GMs, and/or in relation to a member of said Faction. It's contents are not known to any outside the Doomguard unless obtained through appropriate IC means.

City/Server-wide chant is still encouraged and should be announced via The Darker Chant.

Slowly, word has began to pass between Sinkers pertaining a delivery that was accompanied by escort of the Red Death. Though the chant is several cycles old, it speaks of a retinue of guards that oversaw dispatch of a letter meant for the Factol, and she alone. Some whisper of the wyvern-based seal that officially marked the envelope as a Mercykiller document, others of Pentar's warning that followed. The letter is said to have been seen last in the hands of the now heartless soldier whose rotting corpse has since been nailed to the Armory's inner eastern wall.

A large Fiend walks about the Armory, asking about the message outside. It did not look too disturbed about it as it spoke about a message, an invitation, or a warning, a pile of bodies, and the message "We shall speak soon" written in blood.

Rebecca now released after 48 hours witch normally would be 72 as stated before to her - she walks along the halls of the Armory in the ladys ward telling others that the rumors where true, why else would they have released her a day early? is her argument

"I think we all should talk about this, if you are all worried with the matter. I am worried about the one named Dace, and why he would do so, I have strong belief that it was only due to Hate for the Doomguard nothing more. After all he was the one with the charges given too me. I'll explain at the gathering if there ever will be one. If no meeting takes place, I'll seek you all out individually and explain"

Chant has it that a few slaad followers of Ygorl, the slaad lord of Entropy, have been wandering Sigil and preaching his name. Fairly literally preaching his name, by simply repeating "Ygorl" over and over again with various inflections. Elements of the Sinkers would certainly appreciate it if these slaad could be refined into more effective agents of Entropy, and closer ties to Ygorl could be established for the Doomguard.

Rebecca walks into the armory giving a loud shout to anyone who can hear her

"alright, listen up! . . ."

when she continues she hints about a possible job for a few fellow Doomguard if they are interested,
she tells them she will give details later if they are interested into accelerating a bit of entropy
