((Sorry for the delay))

::The next task is for you to disrupt the work of the Dabus. Specifically, you must keep them from trimming back the razorvine for an entire day. Do be cautious, as the Lady will not be pleased if something were to happen to them. Direct interaction should be avoided.::

The command of his Master crawled through the mind of Xitchak as well as the soothing affect of having his antennae pet. It was at moments like these Xitchak was always grateful that his mind shared a constant link with his Master's. With his natural born intelligence a plan might never have formed, with the shared mind :: the Master allows a small portion of his thought processing to aid his pet, granting Xitchak superior intelligence for an Umberhulk.

"It shall take us one to three days to complete this task. We must go find a suitable location, do not worry, you shall know when it is done." Xitchak told the Master and his companions in his husky accented common.

With a final look to his Master to make sure he was not needed further Xitchak strode after a Dabus on its tour of duty about the city. A day had passed as Xitchak followed a dozen or so different Dabus on thier works when a suitable location was found.

A dilapidated stone and wood tower about 7 stories tall, nestled in between the clerks and hive wards. Looks like it may have been an old battlement or possibly some mages tower but it has obviously been abandoned for some time. Dust and rat castings were all over the stones at the base. Through holes in the stone walls Xitchak could see cobwebs spanning most of the sparse interior. Razorvine had already taken a hold here and Xitchak could see two Dabus working to clear it away.

So under the cover of darkness the Hulk burrowed under the tower to the inside. Other than a rather large spider and a few rats that needed dealt with there was nothing to stop Xitchak in his labor. From the top floor down with his mighty fists he weakened the structures supports. (He had twice done this sort of espionage for his master before but never as carefully to make sure the tower collapses on itself.) Finally as the hours passed to morning Xitchak turned to tunneling under the tower itself.

Sometime passed noon Xitchak informed his Master ::The work is complete and to know cover his mouth and eyes, and his Master being previously prepared to tell those he may wish, to do the same::

With that Xitchak crushed the last support and the tower plunged down upon itself to rubble. Dust, dried rat piss and whatever else may have been in that tower took to the air flooding the surrounding area in a haze like a sandstorm in the desert. Rubble and great stones lay now scattered through the street and it would take days for the fallen tower to be cleared away. This in turn would give time for the razorvine to grow outward unhindered by the Dabus as well as inward unchallenged. Xitchak hoped this delay would be enough for the needs of his masters compatriots.

Xitchak then left to rejoin his Master.

Xitchak's Master is not far away, during the time the Umber worked on his demolition, Xaul was in the hall of speakers listening to politics. Oh, what a normally stale and dreadful thing, politics, but the hall of speakers was far more entertaining. He leaves to sense that Xitchak has completed his work just in time. Taking a tomato out of a pocket claimed by telekinesis and slurping it up for the sheer joy of destroying it entirely. It tasted gross. Not like brains at all.

He finds Xitchak quickly, looking to the massive cloud of dust and rubble as he approached the lower ward again. He sees the mighty 'hulk's work complete. A tower collapsed in on itself with small bits of razorvine creeping outwards. Dabus are seen busy with removing the enormous pile of rubble... stone by brick by stick.

::Satisfactory. A job well done, even. It should take them a week to deal with that...::

The illithid would bring Xitchak back towards the armory where he would report the trial to Spragg to be granted a rusted badge for completion.

Xaul would work to create a new pair of tusks for the massive beast. Mandibles were shaped into serrated blades covered with large barbs. Created to be far stronger than his chitin, these new tusks would serve Xitchak well. The painful process of attaching was next, in which they are bolted on with massive rivets and sealed with molten adamantite.

As they return to the Armoury Spragg would be waiting. An amused smile crossed the tiefling's face.

"Such destruction. Yes, yes you will make a fine Doomguard."

Some how, be it through scrying or more mundane means he has been watching. Xitchak is given his badge.

"If you plan on remaking the Hulk's tusks consider the Armoury's resources at your disposal."
