Dorian nods and smiles behind his mask.

He agrees to keep the Factorum up-to-date on any further progress with recruits and the assassin he has made contact with.

As Dorian leaves to investigate more about this magical well, he considered. The Factorum is too hasty he thinks. The Unseelie... well, from what he had heard on the street, and some of the cant about the Orc warchief going off his rocker, the unseelie needed to be dealt with most carefully.

What was really needed was more conflict between both sides, get each side weakened and stressed so badly that they will be happy for any external assistance. Then he could step in and see what could be done to gain control of the well.

And who knows... if this well is as powerful as Cromlich suggested, then maybe Dorian could make some use of it first.

Research is the key he feels, research. What Dorian wanted to look for was any history regarding the animosity between the Seelie and Unseelie. Something he could use as a lever, to push both sides to greater efforts.
((Duke - you want to throw me a bone here? Or i can perhaps make something up.))

As he leaves the Armoury he whistles a sacrificial dirge from his homeworld, which causes visible shudders on some of those citizens standing on the street.

When Dorian would next explore the Hall of records, an unexpected jewel amoung the vast library would present itself...

Perhaps now he might better understand the predicament of the Feywar, and gain a rather great advantagious wisdom to its benefits.

((A PM has been sent detailing the 'jewel' being a book.))

Dorian upon reading the book was most intrigued by the information contained therein. Not exactly what he was hoping for, but more than he expected to find.

Now, how to use this information to inflame the war to greater heights? Or perhaps another course suggests itself...

While Dorian considers how best to use the new knowledge, he decided to see if his agent is willing and able to carry out the tasks Dorian will set. A test of sorts, that will hopefully result in an upping of the violence of the Feywar.

His agent is still being cautious, and not quite ready to commit yet to what Dorian has requested, however, has agreed to the first stage, the theft of a painting. The interesting part is, she indicated she would sub-contract the work to another party. Dorian trusts her to be discreet in the matter, and in a way this is a good indication of her intelligence, keeping her own hands clean of a what is effectively a petty theft, and only getting involved when her own skills are required.

It matters not who the ultimate agent is, just so long as the plan goes ahead.

Dorian awaits word from her that the painting is in her possession, before discussion goes ahead about her willingness to perform the next stage... and of course, the price of that.

Dorian is dissatisfied with his agent's progress. So far nothing to report apart from a brief message that their agent, the agent's agent, had not materialized, so she was going to take a new approach.

Much longer and Dorian would have to terminate their relationship. Terminate it with extreme prejudice.

Many cycles have passed since Dorian arrived in Sigil. After joining the Doomguard and working towards entropy for the last several moons (not that there are moons above Sigil), times have now changed. Strange goings on in and around Sigil, and most recently, tears in the fabric of space and time....
