A short message for Yanek, written in some ancient language arrives at the Armoury:

Sir,

recent investigations showed that the temple of the Abyss is involved in the recent events that lead to this most unfortunate tensions and the spread of unneeded chaos in the Cage.

I do not yet know how Mauric is involved in this mess but we found that a succubus named Nethary was involved in the murder of the Measure and some Mercykillers- as was the killer present at the first incident.

I ask you for your cooperation so this ugly business can be resolved soon.

A letter returns in the same ancient language.

We should discuss Mauric.  Ambrose's place tomorrow evening eight hours after peak.

as I am officially tasked with building a case against the Temple of the Abyss I request whatever information you can provide to support my case.

The more evidence we have against the temple the easier it will be to ensure Mauric's survival.
