A new peice of decor resides in the Armory, brought there by a trio of local hero's and carried by an absurdly strong minotaur.

The Statue:

-Lore DC:16+- The statue appears to have many body parts borrowed from the various deities of fire from various cultures, the face is easily the most recognizable as belong to Kossuth who is primarily acknowledged on Toril.

-The statue holds a bowl in its hands that constantly smells of sulfur.
-The statue seems to refuse being moved by almost everyone who tries
-There is writing on the bowl but what it says is anyone's guess.
-The face of Kossuth seems to be very, very sad.

//Those who put the statue there, please feel free to add your own replies to this post and anyone who has questions feel free to ask away.

The lesser doomlord Mauric regarded the statue while he pondered the inscription that had appeared after the disasterous sacrifice he had offer it. Still bemused over the eerie feeling he had recieved when they had uprooted it. He had noted the sorrowful expression it had shifted into as it was carried away. Other fires had raged around Sigil that day he had heard yet how was they connected to this statue? His musings where soon eclipsed by plans on how this new asset could be applied to cause a catastrophe of cataclysmic proportions. He imagen a vast woodland set ablaze. Letting an Aurilite or other followers of a deity of cold anger it far greater then he could himself. For now it seemed it could only start a fire which wasn't completly impotent but to cause the damage he sought it would require far more than he had seen it capable of so far.

He had made sure that it was secure or rather that the Armoury was safe from it unless if it could produce such an heat that could melt the stones that made up the room it stood in. A Doomguards dilemma, had he actually prevented destruction from spreading by taking it here? He had to find a use for it and soon he tought while looking into the saddened face with a uneasy grin.

After a chilling confrontation in the lower ward, a band of heros discovered a strange statue placed at the heart of the foundry which somehow caused a freezing catastrophy to befall the foundry and the lower ward.

The heros, after shutting the statue off somehow decided to leave it in the foundry rather then mess with it.

The belivers of the source, angered by this, carelessly dumped the statue on the doomguards door step at the armoury and the doomguards were more then eager to bring it in and move it next to the other new statue they have taken possesion of lately.

This one, is similar to the fiery statue in all aspects except it depicts bits and peices of various cold-bound deities.

And it too looks very sad.

((Can we tamper with them here on the forum or do you want to keep this completly in game MM?))

The warlock was much surprised to find another statue paired up with the original when entering the room. Thrumming his finger against the rib-shaped basket hilt of his rapier. -So at least two remains but the question is if bringing them together stirr the elemental powers or settle it he wondered. He decided to start small. "Bring them farther apart" He ordered the Doomguards around him. Still carrying the brand of fire visibly on his forehead that hald melted a hole of the same shape in his circlet.

The statues don't move easily but with a great amount of effort the statues are pulled farther apart.

As this is done any flame sources suddenly flare in intensity and turn white hot, and the room armoury simultaniously plunges into a bitter cold snap, frost and ice quickly forming on almost everything, leaving odd "warm zones" by the enticed flame sources, seperated by breath chilling and slippery pockets of cold.

Perplexed by the result he reels back. Knowing that the extreme fluxiation could bring the entire structure down upon them if allowed to grow too great, the steel will shatter as glass from the extensive heat. "Put them down!" He yelled loudly to be heard but clamly. The intesified heat had an immediate use for the smiths he thought. "Bring in a forge, we could exploit this effect for now."

He thought how this could be used as a weapon. But the effect wasn't strong enough to cause any serious destruction he deemed it. "I want them to be examined for any possible anchorage to the elemental planes. A direct link to the respective planes could be an asset to us." As he had seen the elemental rift he had started to ponder if it wasn't more than divine energies that powered these statues.

Returning covered in sludge and flith Mauric entered the secured vault. Emtying the containts of his bag between the statue of fire and ice. arranging the pieces at the

And so the third statue was interred the ice encased room with the superheated center along with the two existing statues. The pieces was piled up in a heap while the hands holding the bowl aloft stuck up from the pile of body parts. He did not attempt to assmeble the pieces just yet. Instead hoping for the same effect to take place with the mere presence of the parts and in particulary the bowl. Air would feed the flames he thought. It could even be exploited to enhance the existing sytem of air flow in the Armoury he considered.

A large forge had been constructed near the fire statue with a ring of anvils around it. The outer parts of the rook had been converted into experimental cooling devices of various design includeing a attempt at air tempering.

Touching his circlet that once again had been melted to reveal the burning brand in his forehead burning brigther than before. He ressurected the images in his memory when the stone statue melted before his eyes just moments earlier. He had to learn how to control this power somehow.

Himself then Teg and now this Farid Al-Hazar.. Indeed of the four elements his element was fire that greedily consumes and destroys. But what of the other two? Perhaps this was irrelevant. Who would be the fourth? He mused as he regarded the stony hands carrying the bowl.
