Descending down from the upper levels the warlock dwelled upon a weapon he thought lost. One that had played no lesser part in the Hive incident causing so much desiarable strife to feed the dreaming warmongers. Asked too much and gave too little he considered.

His head drooping clenching his teeth from the searing pain he constantly had to hide in company of others. Opening the massive iron door by putting his shoulder agaisnt the cold surface pushing it open and closing it in the same wise. Creaking mournfully due to the rust until clicking resoundingly as it shut. Wandering further into the dimly lit dungeon he spots her sitting on his desk waring a flame coloured kimono he only had seen her wearing once before. Strang how thought and reality connect t times.

The warlock beamed up at the sight. "A surprise. I thought you was lost unto another hand to wield." He walked closer and put his right hand on the desk leaning in close to the masked elven woman. "What better place for a weapon than the Armoury" She replied as witty as usual and a long philosophical discussion followed as they often were wont to engulf in.

They eventually went to the great forge above them to seal the decision. "What do you value the most?" He asked Eloe. Soon after she held a pendant over the reaving flames thirsting for its price. It was no easy parture or it was a masterful act but it was given despite the pain of loss and the flame greedily ate its gift. The rest of the initiation rites had to wait for now.

Just like the flame need to consume to live the warrior needed war or it would wither and die. The flame need to be fed and so must the warrior spirits. How many here had come for the prospect of war rather than the philosophic aspects? The awnser was given..

The seal was still burning through her skin and sweat still pouring down her neck when the echo of gathering troops resonated in the hall. The Doomguard forces assembled rather unexpectedly in large numbers, among them an odd sense of aggravation and arousal.

It wasn't striking at first, nothing unusual for a large group of armed men, but something about the general mood among them seemed increasingly familiar. She then recognised it, despite many decades passing since she had last seen it. But back then, she witnessed that state of mind often, perhaps, even further in the past, before she was whom she has become, she too felt that shriver in the spine.. those small twitches in the muscles.. that slight tightening of the throat, as the anticipation built up in both the mind and the body.

But then she heard the cohort assembling and marching out. The creaking and pinging of steel, and the floor resonating with the column's steps..

clunk.. clunk.. clunk.. clunk.. clunk..

The warrior listened to the sound she thought lost once again, and only then she realised how much she yearned for it. The Doomlord's thoughts were very accurate indeed.
