One cycle, Aaz Muldo's School of Life receives an unusual visitor in the form of a relatively new convert to the faction. She is a tall woman, apparently middle-aged but comely, girded for battle in plain gray plate.

Curiously for one of the Dead, she greets the children at study with a certain fondness and cheer...both of which vanish utterly as she approaches the schoolmaster.

"If you can find use for an ex-merc either in instructing the children or guarding the premesis, I am at your service."

Regardless of the reply she receives, Yuldra begins to stand guard outside the school on a daily basis, whenever time permits for as long as her other duties allow.

Most cycles pass without incident. Children come and go from their lessons, the dregs of the Mortuary district of the Hive pass before the building, and Yuldra remains at her post without so much as a twitch of a single muscle.

One day, the children leave their classes to find something rather different. Yuldra stands at her usual post, with her usual mild smile for the kids and a corpse laying at her feet whose throat appears to have been brutally torn out by a rather toothy maw. Blood covers the street around the corpse, but not a drop appears to have been shed on the school's guard.

When she notices the children staring at the corpse, she holds up a handful of copper pieces.

"These go to whoever carries this corpse to the mortuary for cremation."
