Permits requiring processing

Ba'alnior made his way to through the public area of the Hall of records to the department that processes permits. He makes his way past the public citizens waiting on things and into the areas behind the counter. The clerks have grown used to his occasional visit as he generally makes it a point to bring a bottle of liquor or somesuch as a courtesy for those manning the desk to share after work. Factotum or not, it helps to keep the wheels of bureaucracy well oiled. This trip was no different. A smile and pat on the back to the head clerk as he handed over a sealed bottle of whiskey. After a short chat about idle personal things, he made his way back out of the department, leaving a package on the top of the pile of the now satisfied clerk.

In the package was the following applications filed for one of Ba'alniors clients. All the paperwork was properly filled out and authorized by Ba'alnior. The fees for processing were included. All that needed to be done was for the clerks to enter the information into the hall records and produce the completed permits. All forms were signed by Ba'alnior, Fated Factotum and Attorney at Law.

The permits were for one Anthea, a fellow Taker of Namer rank. They were for;

* Permit for the creation and dealing in (open trading) Magical and Alchemical wares, General Goods and Services and Poisons/liquors/intoxicants.
* Permits for the owning of Slaves, the purchasing and selling of slaves and importation of slaves.
* Permits for the creation of indebtors contracts within the city.
* Permits for the allowance to obtain, market and own property, establishments and buisinesses in Sigil. Also allowing the right to employ both citizens and planeswalkers within the city.

A bill of 750 gold was also forwarded to Anthea for services rendered. This did not include the 1250 gold for the permits, themselves.

... At a different time and place, Anthea upon receiving the notice of her payments due. She would send off a Parcel directed to the appropriate offices with the adequate coin to pay off her dues.
