A Rumor...

Chant has it that some high-up in the Hall of Records is planning something that hasn't been attempted in over a decade: robbing the biggest bank inside Tradegate's formidable walls, and making it out in one piece with all their untaxed riches.

Most Namers are not exactly up for the idea of going into the Merkhant's headquaters, but those with ambition will surely be noticed, no?

The rumours prove to be true for those who are following them and they will hear of a meeting on one of the old, old archives, deep under the Hall of Records.

The woman in charge of this is Factor Slen- known more for her prowess with dagger and shadows than her political skills. Those in her services are either getting very rich quick- or end up dead and forgotten.

The large drow, known for his quick-to-anger temperament and giant axe, would find his way to the meeting, looking rather enthusiastic over the idea of robbing a bunch of fat merchants and their silly bank.

After a few days the drow is called to a meeting- down deep in the vaults. He is lead there by an imp, the small devil navigating tunnels cloaked in darkness so deep even the drow's eyes fail to see through.

He realizes he is lead through a maze, down and up stairs, perhaps even past some traps until he enters a small, richly decorated room.

The woman in there is scarred, once a beauty she now is a twisted mockery of her older self but she holds herself with confidence nevertheless.

"Sit." She simplay says, gesturing at the chair nearby- the imp hovering near the door.

Ra didn't seem to mind the scarred woman's appearance, on the contrary. He sat down carefully, making sure his massive armor (that was still featherweight for him) didn't break the chair beneath him.

"See me when you have a plan. Then we talk equipment. One last thing- pay the berks you hire from the jink you grab. This way they cannot be traced to us."

She looks over at the Drow, silent for a moment before adressing him.

"Before we go on- you are aware of the risks? If you succeed you will be rich but if not noone on this faction will even remember you. You will get some fine equipment, some of the best support we can offer but as soon as this mission goes hot you are on your own."

He replies with one sentence.

"Got nothing to lose."

"Very well."

She leans back, spreads a map on the table.

"Target is a the vault of a bank and money changer in Tradegate- the Silver Unicorn bank. They withheld taxes for three years and we plan to get what is ours- with interests.

The building is well warded and the guards are good. I suggest you go and scout the place, do some research perhaps and some investigations- then find a way to get in, get what is outs and get out again."
