A Notice To All Fated

A notice has been posted to the various entrance of all the Fated compounds in and around the Hall of Records.

My brothers and sisters, fellow Fated,

You have all heard about the recent news that signaled the end of our alliance with the Mercykillers. Some of you may approve, some of you may not; it doesn't matter now. What matters is, that a bunch of cutters suddenly have a debt or two burning a hole in their pocket which we may have forgotten about in the past... not anymore.

Before the end of this year, we've been tasked to make sure these overlooked issues get tied up and penned in the books. We want no loose ends which the Mercykillers may use against us, we will now treat them in the same fashion we treat every other berk in this city: pay your taxes, or face the consequences.

But fear not, for as is always the case, there's another side to every coin: we may not have the Mercykillers as our allies, but we have recently started a blossoming trade with both the Godsmen and the Doomguard. If any of you are in need of a new blade or piece of armor, now is the best time to do so, for you'll find their pricing to be more than friendly.

Let us make sure that we do not anger these two groups, and we may suddenly find two friends where we lost one.
