It doesn't take much digging at all for Xxaaxact to uncover records talking about Harmonium outposts in Arcadia; in fact, an entire layer of Arcadia is very much affiliated with the Harmonium.
As for exact details on the outpost the beholder visited - not much is available in the public records there. If he asks about the matter, the keepers of the records express shock, and make haste to assure him that "They of course do NOT spy on the private dealings of the Harmonium" . . . followed by a few quiet mentions that the right amount of money can uncover all sorts of things.
A great deal of very confusing information can be found about the Scrolls of Mnemur in the hall. It seems that they are a collection of scrolls which are draw to each other, and which create powerful magical effects when collected in large numbers. There's been some very healthy scholarly debate over whether they are affiliated with an evil deity (a recent favorite there is Tharzidun), or merely a neutral source of power.
There is significantly less scholarship on the other artifacts, though there are certainly a great many entertaining cautionary tales about the very bad things that can happen to you if you draw too many cards from a Deck of Many Things.
