The Factor's recent demise was indeed an unexpected one. It happened quietly and suddenly. How could he possibly not realise until it was too late? How could he miss the indications? Was it really but an unfortunate development, or did somebody unbeknownst to the drow lend him his hand in his fall?

These questions bothered many perceptive Takers, most likely however, Ra'zeth himself. Speculations arose, yet evidence was not immediately seen. The topic came up often in many of the hushed conversations that so often filled the walls of Hall of Records. But no one ever dared naming a potential enemy that was behind it.

Not until recently anyway...

- ..hear the darkest about that drow?
- nay.. do tell..
- word is, the ambitious Factotum set this up..
- ..ambitious Factotum, eh? who would that be?
- you would never guess... you know the black-haired human with the workshop..
- what, Aidan? he-
- hush! someone's coming!

..and the two were gone before anyone seen them. The name seemed to come up at least a few times in similar conversations.

Rhistel's presence in the Hall had become rather irregular in the past weeks, some would assume because of the illness he seems to be afflicted by ((either illness, or maybe he is just undergoing a slow process that would ultimately turn him into a living zombie...)), still, the new trend taken by the rumours would inevitably reach his ears too, at some point.

He will not care much about them, which seems to be the default reaction to almost anything that happens to him lately, and even in the unlikely case someone in the Hall decided to confront him about the matter, he'd just send them away, in some occasion even in an unexpectedly rude, if not blatantly aggressive way, refusing to indulge them with more information.

The now controversial Factor seemed melancholic at best, and downright paranoid at worst, always looking behind him as he strode through Fated grounds, ears wary for any rumor surrounding him... but with his fearsome strength being known to all, not many dared to speak just behind his back.

Just a day after his reassignment and the brief encounter with the Factol, Rhistel seems to be on all accounts vanished from both the Hall and the Cage itself. Paperworks had been left uncared for on his desk, and even his workshop and house didn't seem to show any sign of activity on the inside.

A week and a couple of days later though, a letter will finally reach the Hall of Records' offices.
It states that his absence was due to "severe health issues", which have now been taken care of, and informs that he'll be resuming his work the following day.

Ra'zeth was heckled by a fated factioneer in the great baazar. After the intervention of the Harmonium named Vale the drow dragged the weaker half-elf into a corner further away from the busy streets. The interrogation took a strange turn when another drow appeared reducing the bruised half-elf to Ashes while doing little harm to the wyrmblooded kinsman. Fleeing after what seemed as a clumsy assault on the former factor it came to a wild pursuit down to the lower ward where Sill joined him. The attack was little more than a ruse they both learned as several golems laid in wait and attacked the pair. The first wave was defeated but their foeman had prepared a powerful spell couding their senses and vision. A large portion of the street they stood on was engulfed in complete darkness. Two Adamantine golems captured the pair in the midst of it. Stripped not only of their freedom but of their consciousness as well.

Bound in chains the pair awoke in a dank cellar. Sill nearly escaped by exploting a weakness in the construction while Ra'zeth lost to his inly demons. The remarks by the drow captor suggested he had an inkling that was exactly the result he had hoped for. However Another pair Rhistil and a blue haired nymph arrived to free them just as their captor rushed away after meeting with what seemed as an accomplice. Either by chance or by genius machination, a patrol arrived at the same time as Ra'zeth broke the soild oak door in a shower of splinters. Rushing through them without blood being drawn and out to freedom no trace of the captor greeted him, nothing but the everyday lull. As he shouted out what he was about to do with his kinsman when he got to him the few street-strollers lubbed away hurriedly having no wish to get involved or possibly hurt.

The drow raved on during his walk to the Gatehouse where he was guided into a room. While in it the warrior had to knock himself out with a soild board to get momentary peace of mind. When he awoke he would find a steaming bowl of soup waiting for him.
