Request for Entrance Examination

With that, Jaina and Monty make for the Mercuria Portal in the Grand Bazaar, Jaina happening to have overheard people mentioning that the key to it being a golden ring, an item she conveniently had on her person. Wearing her typical non-combat attire, she steps through the portal with her assistant and takes a moment to take in all the landscape around her, bewildered eyes magnified behind her goggles.

There are no beings visible immediately visible to Jania and Monty as they enter Mercuria. The Paladins are usually quite vigilant though...

She looks around a bit, shrugs, and begins to continue forward, unarmed and looking fairly nonthreatening. Monty trots along behind her, storing the package inside of him.
She finds it rather odd that no-one was there, and calls out, "'ullo? Anyone 'ere?"

As they step forward a voice calls out: "HALT! State your name and purpose. Only the truly blessed may walk here."

Jaina freezes immediately, a bit shocked at the sudden shouting. She quickly gathers her thoughts, though, and replies, "Erm... Jaina Wumbo, Aide in the Fraternity of Order. My associate here," gestures to Monty, "is storin' a package from my faction, and we was told ta deliver it to a High Priest at the temple 'ere. Ye mind if we come through?"

"You will drop your weapons and be subjected to a test of purity."

A Paladin steps from behind a rock and will approach assuming Jania compiles.

Jaina takes her crossbow from her bag and lays it down. If she has other weapons, they're in Monty's storage compartment.
\\Jaina's alignment is chaotic neutral, (I've been meaning to get it changed, since I meant to put it down as Lawful Neutral when I made her.) Exact values are 15/52.

The Paladin places a hand on her head and chants for a moment...

"You have sense of Justice which is worthy, and yet, your heart is lacking in purity. We cannot allow you to proceed. Return through the portal, or your life will be forfeit.

If the message you need to deliver is important to you, hand it over. We shall read it, and if we find it contains nothing disturbing to us or the plane we will see it delivered. However, if we do not like the contents we will destroy it."

She ponders a moment before giving a nod. "I s'pose 'at's fine, then. 'ey said it were important 'at it gets ta your high priest..." She leans over to Monty and has him retrieve the package from his compartment, and she hands it over to the Paladin. "I s'pose there's no way I could convince ya ta let me through, so I'll jus' trust 'at you'll do wha's right wif 'is... I guess I'll be on me way then." She beckons Monty to follow, and heads to the portal, though she looks over her shoulder to watch what he does with the package.

The Paladin who took the message gives a signal to his comrades and they stand down. He hands the message over to an other guardian who proceeds to walk up the mountain and disappears from sight.

((I think we can trust the Paladin's of Mercuria to deliver ;) Hope the Priest wasn't wanting to give a response though.... :P You may return to the headquarters to hear what the Factor has to say))
