Request for Entrance Examination

The Paladin who took the message gives a signal to his comrades and they stand down. He hands the message over to an other guardian who proceeds to walk up the mountain and disappears from sight.

((I think we can trust the Paladin's of Mercuria to deliver ;) Hope the Priest wasn't wanting to give a response though.... :P You may return to the headquarters to hear what the Factor has to say))

The two make their way back to the faction HQ to inform the Factor that they've completed the task successfully (Or at least, she's fairly certain they have.)

The Factor listens patiently to the report given by Jania.

"Excellent work. You followed instructions and respected the laws of the realm you travelled. Highly important! We don't need hotheads in our organization who think the best way to solve problems is to kill things.

However, obedience to the laws is only a part of it. You should know that we strongly believe that those who create the laws wield true power, and that finding loopholes in laws is a good way to exercise power further.

I've been working on a particularly thorny problem myself recently, and maybe some fresh insight may be useful.

I have some items that have come into my posession. Quite valuable to the right person. Small, easily transportable. No no... nothing illegal per-se, at least here in Sigil. I would like to get them transported to my summer house in Mechanus. However, due to their specific nature... devices of choas to be precise, i'm studying them!" he states defensively "they are liable to be confiscated if searched at the portal checkpoint.

Can you find me a legal way to get them past the checkpoint? It would be rather embarrasing for me if I were found to be in possession of such items, and to loose them would also be an annoyance. Obtaining them in the first place was tricky enough."

Jaina nods as she listens to the problem. "Aye, I can see where ye'd 'ave problems wif 'at... I'll see what I can do, though. Mind pointin' me to tha nearest Mechanus Law-book? I'm sure 'ere's a loop-'ole in 'ere somewhere."

"Its more of a two-fold problem really. There is a chance of a checkpoint on the Sigil side. That's a rare thing, exports are not so watched. Its the import though that be the problem. On the Mechanus side, it will be our own brothers handling the checkpoint. Laws of both Guvners and Mechanus apply. You can find copies of both in the courthouse and at the hall of records."

She nods once more, heading to the books in the courthouse and reading through them with Monty, who would have a better understanding of Mechanus' laws than she.
