((Just as clarification before we proceed, the Mir Fnar that is being put forward for prosecution is NOT the same Mir Fnar that owns the spelljammer etc, as there are two. Correct?))

A runner arrives in court and passes a note to Victor.

Victor reads the note, glances up at the Prosecution, then passes the note to Plargh.

Victor then stands and addresses the court.

"It appears that the Harmonium do not approve of Notary Greymane's appointment to the position of Prosecutor.

In the light of two successive appointments by the Harmonium, both of which have proven unsuitable, i can only recommend to the Right Honourable Plargh, that we now take the prosecution fully under the auspices of the Fraternity of Order... unless" he pauses to chuckle "he believes in third time lucky?"

He gives a small respectful bow to the Judge before seating again.

Judge Plargh reviews the dossier of the potential Harmonium prosecutor on the stand carefully before gazing around the courthouse once more

"The court appreciates your candor Notary Fnar, however the recent exploits of your colleagues have conspired to indicate that the Harmonium as a whole has a bit too much invested in this trial to be deemed suitably impartial. It is also the desire of the court to have a prosecutor that is familiar with the docket and with proper courtroom procedure.

At this time the prosecution will be selected from within the ranks of the Fraternity of Order."

"Hmm? Oh, I didn't call a witness, I just said I'd like to. If you'd rather go back to... *ponders* wherever it was you and Cratten were like two hours ago then that's fine too. I am sure the first witness has had ample time to recover from his panic attack, if you want to send for him for cross examination. Pretty sure that's the next step, right your Honor?"

Appearently the prosecution thinks this is one big joke. Due to his sarcastic replies and his taunting... smiles... I can see he wil be no different than the previous prosecutor in regards to malicious prosecution on the accused. I'm sure there are a dozen other officers here who could be more professional than this man. He has already embarrassed his Faction and now he would like to do the same to the court.

I will quietly await your honour's motion on the initial order while the prosecuting jestor amuses the court. Once that is made, council will decide whether to call for recess and petition the Fraternity or proceed.

"Notary One Mir Fnar."

"Let the Notary Fnar present herself before the court if she wishes to take on this responsibility, and give her arguments as to why she would be most suitable to act as prosecution"
