*A tall man enters the City Court. His skin is yellowish, and from his simple outfit, one could guess that he is probably a githzerai, except for the single gem he wears as an ornament. He walks with determination and addresses the first Factotum he meets. He claims to seek membership among the Guvners and asks for the procedure*

"Hasclaan Guunt, A8, researcher."

Hasclaan greets the Gith politely and leads him to one of the testing chambers where he can join the rest of the potential candidates, explaining on the way.

"To join us you have to volunteer and pass a simple test.

These test will give us some insight about your abilities and talents as well as they will give you a glimpse of what awaits you in our ranks.

Afterwards-if you pass- you will be assigned to a bureau as an Aide.... think about what would be fitting best for you. Courts, diplomacy... research... perhaps internal security.

But for now I wish you success. Remember- part of this test is also to learn the rules that it is based upon. If you manage this fast the test will be a lot easier. Rules are found everywhere. Knowing them is power."

He bows slightly, then leaves the man alone in the chamber with a the papers, the quill and inkpot (the tools of the trade, after all) and several other candidates.

Some of the candidates have a look at the Gith, who greets them before siting. After a short glimpse at the documents, he starts filling them, meticulously. When Hasclaan comes back, the man holds out the documents to him. On the top of the first page, appears his name: RekÂ’anÂ’dÂ’Lor.

Â…from the documents, it appears that the Githzerai is keener on Laws and Axioms than on Rules. Showing great knowledge in the fields of planes and philosophy for a beginner (plus general on magic), there is no doubt his skills would prove to be useful in a bureau of research. Not surprisingly, he comes from a frightful place... Limbo. The exact details follow:

Origin: Ever-Changing Chaos of Limbo (he added some notes:)
__Born in: Shrak'kt'lor (Limbo)
__Studies in: The Floating City (Limbo)
Motivation for his arrival in Sigil: Join the Fraternity of Order
Motivation for joining the Fraternity of Order: Understand the laws governing magic and the Multiverse

Hasclaan accepts the papers silently, looks through them not commenting at first, then asking a few questions to certain answer given, adding some notes.

Then he looks up at the Gith.

"Your background is most interesting and your test and given motivation makes you a rather good adition to the Bureau of Research.

However I see you have a few troubles concerning rules."

The necromancer adds another few notes, then continues.

"While rules are often seen as the weakest of the Triad of Rules, Laws and Axioms it is them we encounter in most aspects of everyday's life, especially when dealing with our peers or the citizen of this town.

Take your time to study them, take your time to learn them.

If you have questions your superiours will gladly answer them.

Welcome to the Fraternity, Aide."

He puts a stamp on the documents, adds his signature and then his arcane mark as well.

At the hearing of those words, RekÂ’s eyes start to glitter while a wide smile draws on his face; a burst of expression that could be considered unusual among his reserved people. Little talker, he bows slightly to the man, without a word. Hasclaan then hears a voice in his head:

ItÂ’s an honour
