A Visitor To Fraternity's Desk

A busy office of Guvners had a new visitor. The woman was smaller in stature than one of it's kind, but it stood out in different ways. Flaunting the polished golden-hued full-body chain shirt equipment and hat with big venom-green feather, this dark elf female had a badge of Fated pinned to the chest plate. Taking time to wait for her turn in line, she looked like she was fighting boredom of procedures.

When her turn came, she nearly dashed in at the person at reception. Sillxhistraja Fernalit was smiling, odor of perfume applied similar to fresh forest night air.

"Hi there! I am here to procure services of lawyer for one sensitive affair."

She is passed by a woman, short slim and petite almost elf like in proportion though most assuredly human. She is carrying a pile of boxes that are piled far too high for her to see where she is going.

"Did you say you needed to see someone?"

The voice comes from behind the boxes

"If you give me a hand getting these to my office I will see you there."

//Just to clarify this is my pc. If it requires dm attention I'll get someone else for that.

//Well, it is for Hydra's event, but I'd prefer PC to NPC to help.

Female looked back at the voice, hope appearing in her eyes.

Opportunity for shortcut through boring, needless and absolutely horrifying legal procedures before getting qualifications to see someone presented itself.

"Let me help you out, then!"

Carefully taking care to not overthrow pile, Sill takes some boxes from the top.

"Lead the way, blood."

//Then is probably better I stay as a pc then :P

Caterina carefully leads them up a set of stares. Peering around the box she sees they go through some open plan office and to a set of double doors to a private corner office. There was a name etched in gold on the walnut brown door. It has been removed. The office is empty. Empty shelves, empty book cases and nothing on the desk save for a tall white lilly in pot, a bat hanging upside down asleep from a perch.

"Excuse the mess please I am just moving in. I'd offer you a seat but they are downstairs. I'll take this end."

She perches sitting on one end of the desk.

"And you can have the other."

She gestures for Sil to take the other end of the desk.

"I'll accept the invitation."

Plopping on the desk's end, drow looked around the empty room, then her blue eyes wandered to the hibernating bat.

Not caged.

Curious.

"Cute bat. Is it factory for fireball components or just a pet?"

Caterina glances in the sleeping bats direction.

"It is what is called a familiar. Sometimes I wish I had one that was a little more active while I was awake."

The small creatures ears twitch.

"Yes we are talking about you."

"Both it is!"

Looking over this guvner, Sill decided that it is time to talk business.

"Now, I was looking for legal counsel and help in negotiations. I am representing one of the sides of conflicts which claims breach of the working conditions. Have you heard about Ameln & Ghelin business? It is a keg of alchemist fire about to burst."

Caterina switches to discussing business quickly her manner calm and measured.

"I have heard of them I understand they registered a change of ownership with us, several times and most likely with yourselves as well. I had not realized there was any form of legal dispute though. Please continue."

"Right now, they are striking against the working conditions on site. Considering that the new owner is baatezu, I imagine it dropped significantly. And, of course, He is not happy."

Calmly, drow twiddled her fingers as she spoke. She hoped that expertise of this lawyer was good enough.

"Do not get me wrong, though. They are not going Anarch. In fact, they are insisting on negotiations with new owner. I have sizable stake in this affair and having a blood in law and regulations would greatly help in the matter. An inspection of conditions in the factory would be welcome to postpone any illegal silencing of the workers. But main aim is persuading Bael'zai to yield to the conditions laborers proposed."

There is a long pause and a moments consideration.

"Being a Baatezu I would believe he follows health and safety laws as well as laws regarding workers rights to an acceptable minimum."

If she has strong feelings one way or another she does not show it.

"The dispute certainly would be due cause for an inspection. The results of any such investigation would prove valuable evidence in any legal proceedings between the workers and the owner. Quite whether it would be beneficial or detrimental to your cause would depend upon the outcome of the investigation. I take it from what you say you are here representing the workers? Or am mistaken?"
