"We will find out if the contract was voluntary or forced... but the word or Uran will not be enough to make that judgement. Therefore we need to look at more factual angles. Was the contract notarized? Was it altered? Was she registered with the clerks?

When she arrives, with the original documents ,we can have a closer look. Once we see the entire picture, we can decide if this should be taken further or not."

"If she was registered with the clerks there would be a record. We should check. If she wasn't that would be grounds alone to dissolve the contract."

after preparing herself, uran'sel finally makes her way to garen's office.
once allowed in, she'd offer a bow of the head to the two, then quietly stood, or sat if invited, and waited, peering at them silently.

As Uran enters Caterina smiles to her and gestures for her to have a seat.

"Hello again Uran. Administrator Seph has asked me to be here to advise you of your rights. I believe he has some questions for you. Hopefully we can have this resolved shortly. Would you like anything to drink?"

"Of course."

Caterina steps out into the corridor flags down a passing aide and has herself bought a cup of tea. She returns to her seat and waits for Garen to begin.

Garen takes out the folder and opens it. He flips through a few pages, slowly reading some parts then looks up at the two, a professional smile on his faceÂ… polite, calm.

“Uran,” he says while speaking directly to her. “I asked you here today so I may clear a few things up. The first is simply a technical matter. You were instructed to bring the original papers that were issued when you were registered as a contractual slave and for the contract itself. Please give them to your representative so that she may witness whether they are valid or not. Administrator Arnders will check for a Fraternity stamp, a Notarized signature and to ensure both copies were signed by both you and Charae.”

He waits for Caterina to look the papers over before she hands them over before he continues.

Caterina takes the papers and examines them.

"The Fraternity seal is genuine. (//based upon the quote above.)

She turns to Uran and asks in a voice of genuine enquiry.

"Can you varify whether or not this is your signature?"

///it was charae that sent the documents along her reply to garen. uran never had them with her ///

wrote:Attached to the letter is Charae's license to own and purchase slaves, signed and approved by the Fraternity's Caterina Arnders. The next document is the written agreement between Uran and Charae that the elf would serve the justicar for one whole year. Uran's signature is on the document. The third document is the registration, which also shows Uran legally signing away one year of her freedom
*uran'sel looks the documents over, her expression neutral; her brows furrowing for a moment. she then looks back to caterina*

Caterina waits for Uran to examine the document, (wherever it came from.) She doesn't hassle or cajole her, her question was simple enough.
