The letter is signed with a cartoonish tophat.wrote: Mr. Sareph. I wish to formally apologize to you. I was rather inebriated when we spoke last, and I sincerely regret the words that were exchanged between us. I have been under much stress lately.
Just recently I have been investigating the murder of Nero Urbane. In addition, I have also riled the enmity of a Pit Fiend after convincing a young girl not to sign a Faustian contract. With that, and the opening of the Casino, I have not quite been myself lately. Ironic me saying that, me being a changeling and all.
Please accept this bottle of Mercurial Soulfire. It is blessed by the Shrine of Domniel as a Sacramental Wine. In other words, one good drink and you'll be thinking "Holy Shit." Heh...see what I did there?
We aren't enemies, you and I. I realize this now. We have simply been on opposite sides of the law at one point. I do hope that from now on there can be a measure of civility between us. I wish you good health, and long life.
