Ven would go about, looking for more potential sources of info, as well as a more lucrative means of rising up in the ranks. He would be looking in particular for file on hildmor, intending to "fix" them in order to provide Hildmor with more opportunities to evade judgement. He also would go through the records for known enemies of the cartel, and sabotaging them or finding the means to sabotage them if need be. Mostly via ruining reputations, or by forging or modifying documents to ruin said individuals.

As usual for the archives all the visits are handled via signature and date placed under presence of archive keeper, the archive keeper will fill in the documents viewed as per standard procedures. After all it is faction of law and order... everything is organized.
Most obvious enemies of course are Harmonium and Fraternity of Order. As well as many from the court records, though altering the court records would be risky considering they have been made public. Minus last court which consisted of secrecy and still requires clearance for at least a decade before it's opened for public.

He wouldn't modify and forge stuff just yet he had decided. He would keep a detailed mental note of the information gleaned to be used at a future date. In the meantime he would continue doing what he can to curry favor with the higher up in order to be able to take the exam for A-10

Also on said list of enemies for Hildmor would be a mostly inactive group known as the Brotherhood. Recently activity with the group has picked up. All taxes for the group are being paid though little is known of the group save they help those unable to help themselves.

He would start scouring for resources on the brother hood, all references he could find. If he would find anything he would cross-reference them all in order to seek the heart of the matter. If asked why he is doing such, he would explain it as research, in that it is good to read up on the past, examine various cases and such, see how things are organized. Knowledge is power after all.

You would find that the group was founded by an Aasimar named Wren. The group seemed focused on putting The Cartel out of business, though have been known to help anyone who seems in genuine need. Their ranks were moderate though only a few documented. Among them were Wren Ortharas, Eve, Emeraldin Undren, Adelina, Aea, Crystalis Undren, Sapphira Undren, Six, and A wizard named Raymond.
Notable allies are a bard named Kelth, and someone calling himself Darremar.
The roster is quiet a bit larger but these are the names that stick out.
There is also an after note stating that Eve has been rebooting the Brotherhood and openly recruiting.

He would be sure to document everything, writing it down and shoving the copy into a hidden folder in his book of infinite folders.
