In order to make best use of the debtors wing of the prison I wish to audit the residents and business of the Lady's ward in order to reclaim any unpaid tax and to bring justice to those who would cheat the city of its rightful due.  To that end I have sent a missive to Factor Kholl requesting the Fated's assistance.  What I would like to know from you is should I be able to provide a list of premisses with sufficient probable cause to be searched would we be able to obtain the required paperwork and warrants from you?

Regards
Factourm Jentia Snyden
At the bottom of the letter is a seal of dark red wax imprinted upon it is the stylized shape of a wyvern.

Should evidence arise that backs the claims of lawful debts owed to the city of Sigil and her territories, no matter which wards such debts exist, I would be more than willing to provide you with whatever warrants are required for you to lawfully exercise your right to bring justice in these cases. These evidences, however, must be of a legal writ that has been previously recorded and registered with the City, her courts or her legal offices. What I mean by this is that the debts you seek to investigate must be legally binding and signed debts owed to the city or the offices that serve her. They may be taxes, loans, fines or any matter of legally agreed to debts.  I cannot sign off on any warrants that are aimed at debts agreed by word of mouth or by “dubious” or poorly created “after the fact” contracts supplied by any party. So long as they are legal writ I shall sign the Warrants you require and you may pursue Justice in these matters.

Please feel free to contact me at any time day or night as requiredÂ… although I would prefer you keep it to the daytime.

LadyÂ’s Grace
