Early in the morning, probably mere minutes after the Fraternity offices open, a small bespectacled gentleman approaches the counter for the clerks responsible for property deeds and land taxation. He would hand over several forms to the (possibly still yawning Aide) and take out several stamps and colored inks. While the Fraternity clerk watched, the small gentleman would sign several papers, stamping each right after, and hand them to the clerk, saying little while he worked.

Upon closer inspection, the clerk would find property deeds, several of them, pertaining to registered property in UnderSigil, along with the taxation forms indicating the arrears yet to be paid. Clearing his throat while pointing at each page, he would begin;

“I represent The Consortium, their properties and estate division, and have come to activate the process for property reclamation of physical assets based on arrears of taxation and deed by a persona non-grata. These holdings, once owned by one Hildmor d’Kridis and managed by the previous d’Kridis Mercantile Consortium, have become invalid due to the previous landholders removal of citizenship and have not been transferred to a legal entity. The Consortium has waited the prerequisite 30 days for the standard contesting or appealing of the decision. Neither application had been presented to the courts for appeal so we are here to reclaim the properties.”

The Small gentleman would then set a hard leather case on the desk, opening it to reveal several dozen golden trade bars.

“We’ll require the complete amount of the back taxes, the deed transfer fees and the other costs associated with the reactivation of the deeds under the Consortium so that we can have them paid immediately. I do hope this won’t take too long.”

Then he waits with his left hand sitting on the bars and his right hand clasping the quill.

((Small correction, probably talking of Sigil stuff there, not Undersigil. Undersigil cartel's territories are currently Shard's.))

(((Shard doesn't have legal ownership of them. He's simply preventing the other village factions from fighting over them. He's never taken out "legal" deed on them. Even if the Consortium gets legal deed for them... they still gotta play the game of the village to take control. It's just paper to the villagers...)))

The small gentleman looks over the counter to see if anyone has begun to sign the required documents yet, glancing at his pocket watch from time to time.
