(((Goodman wasn't addressing Mathias in any way or form... not even Victor. He was addressing the Judge in the current trial. The one you haven't been assigned to yet. Fortunately for Charles, as council for the defence, I can still openly address the judge until ordered not to ;) )))

Splitted these from main topic, there's plenty enough to read in main topic alone ;) there's enough arguing going on IC to let it expand to OOC also so lets keep it cool, I'm not saying either of you are trying to spark up OOC arguing since it seems calm enough, but I just thought I'd make a friendly reminder.

(((I'm still responding to your "official" request, only a couple of posts back, to lead the prosecution. Unless you've stated you no longer wish to, publically, or the judge has told you no, it's still a matter of debate. Just because you're having a private discussion with someone else does not prevent me from still argueing the case before the judge.
Until the judge rules whether you are to prosecute or not, I will still argue against it.

(((And unless you've stated you're talking quietly, it must be assumed that those involved in the thread can hear you. If you wish something to remian private or whispered, you need to post such. That's how text RP is done. We cannot assume you've moved to the other side of the room or lowered your voice unless you tell us)))

Ok, let us assume he was speaking normally (not like Ivan "The Wall") and in a crowded courtroom with lots of action, it would be highly unlikely that he would be overheard unless someone was specifically trying to hear or standing/sitting quite close.
@Darkrob - if you are responding to a post made several posts back, the quote function would help. We have to accept lag in a forum situation so some time-shifting is possible, but sometimes we will just have to let things slip unless critical to the trial.
In other words, let's move on.

((Can we stop the petty courtroom squabbles and get this thing moving? Otherwise poor Hildmor is going to be consigned to the OOC room for the next 6 months.))

I'm surprised the bailiff hasn't gone nuts from all the note passing
