Christopher measure one of the Harmonium has never been one for paper work, moving about so frequently and always being in the field has seen to that.
A simple letter of resignation appears on the desk of his commanding officer. He states he is proud to have served in the most elite fighting force in the multiverse and has no regrets about his years as a measure and that should the unit ever need help they need but ask. He states that it is simply time for another chapter of adventures in his life and that in the changing times the unit needs thinkers AND doers, and he even freely admits he has been more of a doer when it comes to the need to make the harmonium presence known.
He asks that the chain of command continue to adhere to the standards he has been proud to uphold and that everyone ever be on the watch for those who would seek to supplant the way of harmony from the inside out.
He highly recommends(and to this point he recites dozens of reports, acts of valor and duty and displays of loyalty) that Notary One Nica be promoted to the rank of Measure One to cover the gap his retirement leaves.
His gear is turned in, as is his badge and everything he had with the harmonium logo and after making one last round of the barracks to say farewell to the troops, one last check to make sure the next week of scheduled patrols is in place, and one last check of the units supplies and such is in order, Measure One Cryptbane, of the office of troop management and logistics heads out into sigil on what ever next adventure awaits him.
