The sound of heavy, armored footsteps resonated throughout the hall in the Harmonium Barracks. A small squad of seasoned Harmonium officiers marched in with firm, steady footsteps, sending vague signals of a sour mood. The polished, crimson armours shining in the dim light, each of the men had bulging muscles, several tattoos and arrays of battlescars that would make the Nameless One jealous. Whoever they were, these men gave little impression of being anything other than some of the most brutal and seasoned warriors among the Harmonium.
Walking slightly before the squad was a female standing near the height of the men. Wearing a heavy, crimson hood, her insignia marked her as Measure and thereby the leader of this squad. Her face barely visible, one could still see a nasty scar running from her left cheek, crossing thinly pressed lips and down the throat. Continuing their march towards the counter, an increasingly small Factotum stared at the approaching patrol with a feigned indifference, small beads of sweat on his forehead betraying his true feelings. He forced a thin smile and opened his mouth to speak.
"Measure Blackthorne, I see you and the First Response unit has retur-"
"Legion, Halt!"
The voice resonated throughout the barracks, its sharp and precise command and the deafening sound of the heavily armored men stopping, cut off the words of the Factotum. Within a mere second it was as if all sound and movement within the Barracks had come to a halt, the Multiverse trying to compensate for the intensity of the command. An eerie silence grew as the Measure slowly let her hood fall back. What remained of the Measure was her piercing eyes. Several scars now adorned her battleweary features, her blonde hair cropped to a military cut with a small ponytail behind her skull.
The atmosphere was tense within the hall. Despite the lack of words, one could feel the feelings in the air, and they were not of the soft kind. One of the stationed guard notaries stole a look sideways to his more seasoned partner as if to ask, but was quickly shrugged aside with a 'mind your own business' look.
"Measure, as you know you can debri-" The clerk was cut off by a raised clenched fist, signalling him to stop. The squad leader took a few steps closer to the desk, her eyes never leaving the Factotum. He instinctively took a step back.
"You have..." Her words were slow and deliberate, yet seething with anger.
"... Five minutes to bring Erroc here, so he can explain exactly how it is even possible that Hildmor d'Kridis still walks our streets as a free man."

"Measure. It is clear you have not heard the news? Cratten Erroc is no longer in the Barracks or part of Harmonium, nor is his location known. Last known location was when he stepped out of barracks and left his resignation in a letter to his superior. There is currently a warrant out for him. He was removed in middle of trials by the judge and refused to co-operate since that. So unfortunately I am unable to perform the task you request.
We don't know where he resides, since he had moved into the Barracks before the trials, his previous apartment was burnt earlier, though we've found out the burnt damage was paid by a plane traveler called Ixia Larkspur. As far as we know, he has left the Cage.
Might I also remind that Hildmor d'Kridis was sentenced guilty by Fraternity and the Mercykillers delivered the sentence with members of each separate faction of laws. Our records notion that he paid the bail which was an extensive sum of jink."
