He glances up at the ice, then examines the man holding the child, trying to find out to what unit this tainted officer belonged- perhaps this bit of information might be useful later.

The half orc does not try to get up, moves slowly, avoiding any threatening gestures. Playing for time is an option, a quick assault is another one but.... a caster and warrior with an hostage. It does not look good.

So he does the Harmonium thing- trusting into his fellow soldiers, trusting in the training and the combined strenght of their unit.

"You said you know me well- so you also should know the answer already." He looks up at this cold beauty, then tries to give the boy in the man's grip an encouraging smile. But he does not feel very confident himself so it might have failed.
"I have to find those men and if it is just their corpses I will bury them, give them the honour they deserve. We are Harmonium, we have a mission and I won't leave the troops there behind. But perhaps we can find an agreement? Bring us there, we bury the dead, take whoever might hiding and move out. I complete my mission, you lose a thorn in your side."

Taking a deep breath the half orc tries to stand, adressing the woman again. "And why are you here? Who are those people? Look at the boy.. he is just scared. He is no danger- to neither of you."

He failed to get eyecontact with the boy. Squring in the large bulky mans grip he looked at the notary pointing his crosbow at them. Likely unsure whether the bolt would be fired at him or not. The fiend blooded soldier backed away very slowy.

"He is waiting for you to arrive at his self proclaimed court. Perhaps you will reach it but not through my aid. You should know, these are the decendants of your very own beloved little family."

She turned her blue-tinted chin at him followed by a arrogant smirk. "It is not I that need him. You should ask your collegue here what he need the boy for."

The frenetic punding stopped and there was complete silence for a moment. Until it was broken by the fiend spawn.

"He will be a sodier in the army and serve the resistence. There will only be one picked among a hundred. Many have I gathered and many more will I gather after this." He pulled a scabbarded wicked cruved blade from his side and held it to the boys throat.

There was a loud Hammering against the trapdoor now apparently the troopers had found something to use as a battering ram. It hailed ice shards at evry stroke of it. They would soon rush in he realised.

A protective barrier started to shimmer around the witch. He could tell she was extremly adept as she could cast with mere tought no gesture and no incantation.

He glances as the fiendish creature, his eyes narrowing as he sees the blade and understads the unspoken threat it carries.

Anger is risiding but he knows he must not allow it to guide his actions, he must keep a calm head. Turning his focus inside to let the teachings of Wee Jas and the Harmonium guide him he takes another deep breath, then returns his attention to the warded woman.

"What is your role in all of this- what do you gain?" He tries to gauge how much time it will take for them to break through, the distances between him, the boy and the half fiend.

He knows he cannot do much agains a caster of the woman's strenght- not without any prepaeration, not like he is now.

It is amatter of seconds perhaps twenty mayhap forty but no longer that that before they would break through.

The distance between him and the boy is nearing three meters and slowly growing as the man backs away.

Her face even more beautiful in the eerie dim light. The longer he gazed at her more comely did he find her. As did he find her voice sweeter and addictive as he listened to her.

"The games we play they shift and turn. Pieces and boards may look diffrently but what is being played for is always the same. Power. One rises to cull the will of others to replace it with his own although it is through the White Hand of a god. A second voice cries out in defiance to contest that. Two players it takes for any game. What does the third have to gain he ask." Her Purple-coloured curved into mocking smile. "A few of them still have to be removed before we will speak again Harmonium."

She gripped her staff in both hands and let it touched the ground gently with only a mildest thud against the ice-incased floor. With that she began to dematerialise and faded from existence.

She made no effort to help the fiend blood at least not what could be seen. And he was not happy about it nor did he seem to expect that.

"I will have you flensed and pissed on by a legion after they had their way with you witch!" He shouted in anger. More importantly to Hograth he lowered his blade as to stab the fading image but he quicly realised his err and dug his feindish eyes into the half-orc. He had but a tenth of a second to react.

The half orc feels the tension grow, part of him hearing the woman's word, his mind spinning around them until he forces it to focus on the threat again, the Measure's eyes fixing on the fiendling.

Seeing the blade drop, hoping the man's attention is still on the faded witch Hograth lunges forward, ailing an open handed strike at the man's face, hoping to hit his helmet with his armoured palm.

He also hopes that this attack aimed on the face and eyes will trigger the man's reflexes, will draw the blade away from the boy in an attempt to parry the wild attack.

Hograth knows he does not have to win here alone- he just needs to buy some time until reinforcements arrive and he hopefully will draw the man's attention away from the boy and to himself.

It is barely but the distracted half-fiend is hit most of his hand rammed against the open part of his barbute helm snapping the clasp at his jaw from the impact as he is staggering backwards.

The nimble boy quickly wring himself out of the distrupted embrace he was trappen in and leap underneath the broken table Hograth had just sprung up from.

The fiendblood grabbed Hograths hand as he nearly fell backwards aiming a thrust at the lower part of his breastplate as he did.

A heavy crackling was Heard behind him followed by two heavy thuds. The trapdoor ripped open and the frist trooper landed on the floor soon thereafter. repositioning his feets rappidly several times over to keep his footing as he hadn't expected the slippery ground.

Hograth grunts, tries to block the knife with his other hand, his armoured lower arm against the man's wrist. Trying to use the momentum gained he hopes to get a leg behind the fiendling to take him down with a swift throw, pushing the armoured man back.

He does not look back at hs fellow soldiers, trusting them to take care of the boy and assist him with the Half fiend if needed- he of course tries to capture this one alive.

The point slid against his armoured forearm and it was deflected and steered from his body. He manage to get a leg behind his knees the large man falling over and crashing against the icey floor.

The troopers quickly surrounds him as they storm inside with speed. Honding his blade still as he was laying on his back emitting a beastial growl as he stared up at Hograth.

"Yield." The half orc says to him, then gestures to the troopers to secure the building, hoping one of them also would take care of the boy as he does not dare to shift his attention away from this foe yet.

Still on the floor and in no position to offer much resistance his fanged teeth flashed in the dim light as he spoke defiantly. He noticed a outstanding feature on the armour as he laid there the right poleyn had the shape of a gilden twisted horn. "Never. I will never yield to you nor anyone."

The boy was still hiding under the table Hograth had broken in his fall. These troopers were soldiers of the field. Hostage situations was new to them. They had secured the building inside and outside. Surrounding the foe completly while two moved to topple the table over and get the boy.
