Rhistel follows the Notary in silence, completely disinterested to his surroundings as they walk the Barracks corridors, gaze on the ground and his right hand nervously scratching one spot on his left forearm.
Just stay calm. You are of no use if you don't stay calm.
He raises his head again only when the Notary stops in front of a door and knocks, and when allowed inside he enters, focusing immediately on Hograth.
"Measure... I am afraid I will need to ask for your help."

The half orc seems tired and rather annoyed about something but if he is surprised to see the Taker here he does not show it.
His office is small and austere, a simple desk with three drawers, three wooden chairs (one already occupied by the half orc) a small cabinet to hold the most important files on the right wall, beside a bookcase. A small stove is in the back of the room, a small table with some pots and cups beside it.
"Please sit down, Factor." He gestures towards an empty chair and he is obviously not in mood for polite smalltalk but gets to the point immediately, checking some informations from a report he reads.
"Before you tell me what you need I have a question: Have you been near your home when a fight broke out in the <insert street name> on the <insert date> at about <insert time> ?"
((OOC note: he means the fight that was used as distraction to plant the Sensory Stone in Rhistle's house of course))

He approaches the chair when asked to, though it's clear he is not in the right mood to take a seat. He is nervous and distracted, quite in contrast with the demeanour he had last time the two had met.
He was about to sit down when Hograth asks his question. He stops and turns to look at him, a confused and maybe slightly resented expression on his face.
"A fight? Near my house?" He almost burst out. "Officer I've been stuck in an inn room for the past two days waiting for your investigation to be finished! I have not even been allowed to take spare clothes from my house! Do you take me for an idiot? I have not approached the entire Clerk Ward at all after consigning your documents to the Hall of Records that same day!"
He is clearly trying to maintain his tone calm, but his efforts seems to be vain, making his frustration quite perceivable.

Hograth listens calmy nodding once and he gestures at the chair again.
The Half Orc used to reactions like those, indeed he uses them to his advantage, knowing that people who are stressed and off balance have a harder time to lie.
"Good.", he simply says and then repeats: "Please sit down Factor."
Closing the folder he was reading on and putting it aside he indicates that the man now has his full attention and he leans back, his chair creaking dangerously as it has to bear this brute's full weight.
"How can I help you?"

He takes a breath and brings a hand to his forehead, running it through his hair and then letting it fall again at his side.
With some reluctance, he finally sits down and reaches for his bag, taking O'Nine's ledger out of it together with a copy of the receipt he made about the confiscation, and placing them on Hograth's desk.
"It is about the Air Genasi. Something happened and it has to do with the Root O'Nine Warehouse... I believe it is there she... went missing."
He explains him how she had been approached by a rusty Modrone a day before at the market, and how he had been with her at the warehouse while she ordered a violin that was supposed to be delivered to their house, then continues.
"I have looked for her there, the owner avoided me and fled to Mechanus. I took the liberty to ask the employers for informations... and they pointed me to this" He gestures to the ledger.
"Another warehouse rented, a payment to some body called 'Finn'... The regular staff sent home for three days and replaced with another team exactly during the time she gets lured twice in that place. They wanted to take her from the beginning. They didn't the first time because I was there."
He pauses a moment, as to recollect himself, and after taking another breath he talks again, his tone now forcedly measured.
"I have no jurisdiction over this. I can't investigate this place or this person on my own. Not while I am being under investigation myself," he says with cold regret before lowering his voice a little.
"But I... I really need to find her... and whoever is keeping her has blocked my scrying..."

The half orc nods, reaches into a drawer nearby to get out some forms which he starts to fill while listening to Rhistle, sometimes checking the documents Rhistle provided.
When the half drow stopped he looks up, heats some sealing wax with a simple spell, flames flickering from his fingers.
"Do you have any idea why she has been targetted? Whoever does this invested a lot of ressources and time. He must be rich and command a lot of influence.", he then asks, uses his ring to seal whatever documents he prepared.
"Your Faction holds the records about houses and their owners... I will need access to the documents concerning this warehouse and the people involved."
He pushes the first of the documents he prepared into Rhistle's direction- it is a official request to access the data he had talked about.
"I also alarmed all patrols already after you contacted me the first time. They are looking for her."

The door is wrenched from the hinges. The squad rushes inside and begin a search. It is dark and filled with crates and boxes a murky musty smell hitting the three of them as they enter, dust covers the floor. One of the Notaries shouts back.
"Area clear!"

He sets the door down then enters the warehouse, vigilant, always ready for trouble.
"Search the area! Cleric... looks for lingering Chaotic energies. Mage... look for traces of magic,"
He turns to Rhistle and Kapaneus, smiles at them. "By my guests....add your own talents. You are free to assist in our search."
The Half Orc is aware of his own limitations, he knows the others are better suited to perform this task.

The Vampire offers a plated shrug to Hograth, still holding the blue tunic in hand as he shadows Rhistel. When Rhistel would try to meet his gaze, he would hold it for as long as the other man did.
" Don't really know Magic. Ain't that good at knit-picking fine detail either. " The Former farmer would admit from under his mask before turning to Rhistel and grunting in a low tone. " Was a Scent Trial from the Inn Room... Lead out into the Bazaar. Couldn't follow it from there... Have other means, but I'll wait. "
