Gang Member Detained

[*Bloodlines]

A fiend woman identified as Gold is brought into the barracks by a member of the Triad. The woman was identified by a woman named Ulanishio to be the kidnapper of the fey Leyana.

Upon arrival, Gold is detained and placed in a cell by the Harmonium while several parties are contacted to verify her identity.

Couriers are sent to the Indep Sharon Raynsford, the Signer known as Argent, the fey Leyana, the drow ranger Ryuthiiri, the human woman Ulanshio, and the necromancer Lyra Darkmatter to report to the barracks in order to make a written statement about the detainee.

"Two letters?" Sharon murmured as she handed Leyana one of the sealed envelopes back at their apartment. Her eyes narrowed briefly upon noticing the Harmonium stamp, then unsealed it. After a brief look over the text and a soft sigh, she folded up the letter, threw on her purple coat, and tucked it away into one of the various pouches on herself. "Let's go, love."

Despite the air of confidence she had, she couldn't help but feel a slight sense of dread when heading to the Barracks. It is, after all, the Harmonium's building within Sigil, and few if any Indep would feel safe there. The both of them made their way through the Market Ward, the Lady's Ward, and straight to the ominous building within. Once inside, Sharon approached the front desk.

"Sharon Raynsford. I was summoned here to make a statement about someone?"

The Measure greets Sharon and takes them both back to where the fiend Gold was being held for questioning. She was led into a dark room that was adjacent to the interrogation room, separated by a pane of enchanted glass that kept the interrogated from seeing anyone enter.

Gold would be sitting on a bench fixed to the wall, facing the glass. She stared at the glass with her arms folded, looking as though she had been waiting for some time.

Sharon followed the Measure deeper into the Barracks, all the way into the dark room. When her gaze shifted to the fiend on the other side of the enchanted glass, her eyes narrowed. The woman's teeth bared briefly as they clenched, already expressing a sense of loathing towards Gold.

"... That's Gold, all right. Romper Room gang. Red's right hand. Kidnapped my love and ransomed her for half a million jink."

The Measure leaves them for a moment, asking them to wait there as he meets with another witness. Roughly ten minutes later, the Measure and several other notaries enter the interrogation room and arrest Gold, taking her way in irons.

Afterward, Sharon and the other witnesses are dismissed while Gold and the charges against her are processed through.
