I was following a shadowy figure after tending to a few papers with the young girl Alicia. Apparently Ashen had bribed her to reveal information about a critical witness, Danielle.
I retrieved most of the Jink if not all of it soon enough. But I chose to persue the figure and confront them, it turned out to be The Ashen herself.
I tried to ward her off and made a warning that if she attempted to attack Danielle, I would unquestioningly arrest her. She promised to attack regardless and made her attack upon me.
My equipment was ruined and my life was near its end by the time the event was over. Ashen dissappeared and the last thing I was consious to see was her boot walking away.
I was saved by the skillful medical hands of Chari and the others... if it hadnt been for them, I think my life would have ended there and then.
I am eternally greatful to them all.. even if we have our differences.
