The written statement is cleanly written, the only exception being his messy signature:
"I had approached the bazaar after finishing up some personal business of mine, when I came upon an unsettling scene. Danielle, grievously wounded in the chest and motionless, had been slumped alongside a table, while the Ashen had Alicia firmly in her grasp, and a weapon drawn. Upon verbally confronting the Ashen, she then threw Alicia across the way into the stone, striking her with a kick afterward. At this point in time the Ashen fled with hastening magic, as far as I could tell.
