I came here with little to present, but realized just how important this case is to your lot here. I set myself up for this. I left myself out in the open for confrontation. She offered for me to take my own life - or for her to do so - we got into conversation, and something I said sparked her up. Even I didn't expect her to act so rashly.
I said that I'd never make Ashen's mistake, never sell myself out as a pawn. I'd rather die on my feet than live at my knees. The 'mistake' part really set her off; 'broke' her character in the moment.
I don't recall anything after that. Hence the reason for all of this ((Danielle's wounds)) - she was threatened by my will to resist her.
