A runner in Mercykiller uniform arrives at the Barracks, with an urgent letter for Measure Hograth Thorn. The messenger refuses to hand over the missive to anyone else.

After reading the letter Hograth readies his squad and asks for reinforcements from his superiors- it is impossible for the troops under his command to cover all the target sites effectively nor is he authorized to start an operation of this scale.
So he sets up a letter:

Ladys, Sirs,
our allies, the Mercykillers, request our aid.
Troops are requested to cover places all over the inner planes, to disrupt and prevent the rituals performed by a group called the Cult of Kakos Kruphai who may be behind the deaths of several members of the Sign of One.
We need to make haste, the troops must be sent to the coordinates given by our allies as soon as possible. I suggest heavy armour and survival wquipment as well as arcane and divine support for each squad.

If he caught wind of this, Measure Inodine would volunteer to lead one of these squads. While known for his brutality in enforcing Order, it was also known that he was very, veryÂ… difficult to brush aside. His ability to command large units, his ability to wade into hordes while swinging his blade and his ability to cast any tier of mage spell whilst fully armored and armed made him an ideal front line field commander.

Hograth of welcomes the gruff warrior of course, briefs him about what happened, showing him the message he got while he waits for the troops to get ready.

After reading the letter, Chari volunteers herself and her unit to help and assigns a contingent to one of the hot spots within the inner planes. She leaves her second in command in charge of her outpost in the Hive and starts collecting gear and equipment for herself and her troops for the trip to the inner planes.

Chari is welcomed as well, the information is shared so she can prepare herself and her troops more efficiently.
While Hograth still awaits the pemission for this opertation to be given he encourages the other Measures to get ready fast. If necessary they will have to act- Hograth will deal with the brass and any consequences.

Shamus cancels the leave of any troops in his Hive outpost, assigns half available troops to accompany him and the other half on extended shifts to cover the loss of manpower. He places the Outpost under the temporary direction of Mercykiller Sana Kross and makes for the barracks.

You are cleared to send troops to the provided locations of the ritual sites in the marked planes, if such is in fact warranted by the circumstances.
Given the lack of coordinates for the unmarked planes, and their extremely inhospitable nature, it is simply not practical to attempt to watch their entirety. We will need more precise coordinates.

Chari spends the day preparing her troops for any eventual outcome, including violence and requests magical suits of Harmonium armor so she and her troops can go to some of the unmarked planes while experiencing only minor discomfort.
During anti-peak, she has a runner dispatched to Measure Hograth, letting him know she and her troops are ready for deployment, as she feels the need for urgency

He then asks Shamus to deploy his forces to the plane of Fire as this site is not yet fully marked- and he sends Chari to the quasielemental plane of Minerals.
He thinks that Shamus will be perfect to handle the raw brutal nature of fire and lawful evil genies living on this plane while Chari should be able to cope with the positive energy of the Mineral plane quite well.
Their mission is to scout the places, secure any evidence they find about the cult and disrupt cult operations there.
The rest of the troops he splits down into smaller squads- able to move quick to scout the other planes should the Mercykillers provide the coordinates.
