*The bardess walks up to the nearest notary in the Bazaar, reporting that a Lich, after partaking in some experiments on an elf, who consented, was attacked via a turn undead attempt by one Abby Winters. As the Lich did no hostile action, this attempt at it's undead essence was considered by the bardess as a direct attack, hence the report.*

\\following the incident when hunvagy returned I stated that chardon stepped aside and spoke quietly with the Harmonium patrolmen who arrived on the scene. If a dm wants to take that role tomorrow that's great. I'll let you guys determine the reaction and what happens next\\

*The junior duty officer scratches his head a moment upon recieving the report.*

"Great! No name of victim given... how the devils can i file this now? Ok, perpertator's name is given at least, although no description... why do these planewalkers think they are all celebrities?"

*pulls out a form and a book, he opens through the book trying to cross-reference and locate laws relating to undead, specifically sentient ones. Finally he finds that appropriate laws*

"Ok," he mumbles to himself "Liches are sentient and allowed in Sigil.... standard laws apply..... turning would be considered a hostile action... looks like an investigation is due then."

*He starts to fill out a form and when completed hands it to a Harmonium Aide*

One is a notification to all Harmonium Officers to bring Abby in for questioning, and to try and find out who the victim was.

The second is not on official paper, its a private message, addressed to the Dustmen. At the end of his shift, on his way home, he stops by a beggar boy and hands him the paper and a coin. The boy promptly dashes off in the direction of the Mortuary.

Cratten takes a look at the report, then places on Harmonium noteboard "Arrite, I want this Abby Winters taken to questioning, the law's the law... attack someone and ye ain't going to just walk away before ye try to get moral. Also I want to hear what the said lich has to say about this or whether he'll press charges... if he ain't then this be nothing more than a tad stern talking and letting 'em both walk."

((guess I was minute late ;) ))

Chardon passes through the bazaar where he is stopped by a patrolman looking for a lich. Chardon confirms to the patrolman that he is in fact the lich who was attacked and accompanies the guard to the barracks to speak with the Measure and make his statement.

From the Weary Spirit, in the Hive, Abby naturally doesn't see any Harmonium nor hear that the "law" is currently looking for her. She spends the rest of her day going about her normal daily activities of feeding and caring for the destitute.

*Mathias Greymane reads the bulletin board, shocked at what he sees, and heads to the hive out of uniform to visit Abigail. Should he find her at the Weary Spirit, he says the following*

"Hello Abigail, uhm, this is kind of awkward but you know you are wanted for questioning in regards to an assault charge right? Something about trying to turn a Lich in the market? I hate to do this... but you'll need to come with me to the Barracks for questioning... so far there isn't an arrest warrant out, hopefully we can mitigate this situation before it becomes a problem."

Eventually growing tired of waiting, Chardon moves to the barracks and gives his report to the officer on duty.

"I had been asked by a woman named Pen to assist in some scrying involving a portion of another woman named Nienna. I had conducted a ritual to assist in that scrying, with full permission and participation of both of those parties. The ritual involved some transfer of negative energy, and Nienna was weakened by the ritual. Upon witnessing the ritual the woman...I was told her name was Abby but I do not know her myself...she attacked me, attempting to "turn" me. I was unable to move."

Chardon looks angrily at the attendant on duty.

"To be perfectly honest, I am growing more than a bit frustrated with the behavior I have seen in the bazaar as of late. For months I was allowed to carry a staff in the bazaar. I undergo a transformation to take on this form, and I am now subject to harassment if I carry a staff into the bazaar. I am attacked, and no Harmonium officer either apprehends the subject or comes to me to discuss the incident. If these injustices and open racist behavior continue, I will be contacting the appropriate authorities and presenting a case against the Harmonium itself regarding these recent events. This will not be allowed to continue. Good day to you."

Chardon turns and leaves at a brisk pace.

Cratten responds to this "Would ye like to press charges against this Abby Winters? Or ye just came all this way to tell ye'll press charges against Harmonium unless we dance and serve ye? Heh, good luck. The Harmonium ain't always everywhere, that's the harsh reality, but we'll deal with every case we'll be told of appropriately with Harmonium rules."

Chardon turns on his way out and responds.

"Yes, I would like to see her charged for her actions. And I would prefer to speak with a representative of your organization who is not also one of the ones who harassed me over carrying a walking staff. You were in the bazaar that day and you fully supported the discrimination I faced. If your organization is not capable of maintaining justice and control in the city, I am certain there are those who would take on that responsibility."
