Alathra spends an afternoon in the archives, trying to look for any reports that are tied to the fate of one Doomguard going by the name of 'Ashen.'

The history of the Ashen case goes quite a ways back, even now its story remains almost akin to a legend by Harmonium standards. It seemed no matter how many times her legacy was killed, someone, always had a way of bringing it back.
The earliest case tied to the Ashen dates back to a rumored belief she was responsible but never confirmed to be involved in a breakout. The Bleak Cabal headquaters had exploded in several areas which resulted in the release of a good number of barmies that day.
The next big case was a report that the entire Mercykiller Prison was sedated with toxins made from distilled and combusted drugs. The Red Death werent doing so badly but one of the prisoners from long ago, still missing, had escaped from his imprisonment in the lowest depths of the cells, the Grotto.
The final major incident was an attempt to usurp Sigil itself. A number of provoked attacks by Doomguard insurgents, Anarchist suppliars and Ashen's personal hand lead to the following:
The abduction of at least several innocents.
The abduction and manipulation of one officer Chari, who for a time was forcefully converted to the Sinkers through a control collar.
Several assaults including an attack on a young girl and the near-murder of a fey'ri by the name of Danielle.
The near death of Amaku Yamikaze at the hands of Ashen.
Finally, the mysterious list of events goes stale with what appears to be a blank slot in the middle ground. It appears Ashen willingly surrendered herself to the Harmonium at one point. She then dissappeared under mysterious circumstances in the very prison itself and was not heard from again.
For a good while.
The record goes on to explain significantly later, during the rise of The Shaper, she played a hand in ironically assisting "and" thwarting the Harmonium when they attacked The Shadowsworn Superfortress, The Aegis in the middle of the Astral Plane.
Her last report indicates she was deceased by the hands of a band of adventuerors, amoung which a few names are listed.
Chari and Maelfina are most noteworthy, though Hildmor D'Kridis is mentioned and Jiro the halfling, aswell as a number of others.
Any further records of her history have gone stale. There appears to be no further recorded information by the Harmonium. Weather she is truley dead, gone forever or yet again, set back by events, nothing is made clear.
All that is made clear, is that she dissappeared without a trace for a good while.
In the Harmonium barracks.
Without any logical reason. There was no record of a paid bail. The only peace of evidence that explained one small clue in Ashen's missing gap was a rumor of one Notary Azrael believed to be involved. However, he was later let off due to a lack of solid evidence. Chari was also noted to be involved, accusing the Notary of having abducted Ashen right before her.
Once more, no proof was left of the deed. Should it have been prooven true in any way, there was simply no means to proove it.
Once again, the trail, went cold.
Where Ashen was then, and where she was now.
Hells and Abyss knew.
