The paperwork trail so far. . .

Two days ago, a warrant was requested from the Guvners for the Harmonium to search the Weary Spirit Infirmary. They had received a tip from an “anonymous but reliable informant” that the place was an Anarchist hideout, and that several prominent Revolutionaries were going to be there the next day. A warrant was issued.

Report from Measure Elbrend:
wrote:As we approached the Weary Spirit Infirmary from the south, a poultry merchantÂ’s cart overturned, delaying our advance. The owner of the cart, a woman named Jola, apologized profusely for the mess. After some investigation, I concluded that despite the suspicious timing it was an honest accident.

When we reached the infirmary, we searched it and found nothing. A probable anarchist agent, however, began throwing fire bombs outside of the infirmary. Notaries Jens, Sang, and Serge went to apprehend the criminal (A description is given which matches that of Fargul Bernadotte).

They did not return before we had finished searching the infirmary. The attendant, Khari, was very cooperative and apologetic about the poultry incident. The volunteer physician, Dr. Zhirchek, was somewhat more resistant, but I see no reason to suspect either of them, or the infirmary, of harboring anarchists.
A squad was later sent out to find the three officers who went missing in the Slags. The bodies of Sang and Serge were recovered just outside of the Slags. They had clearly been mauled to death by the feral creatures which inhabit the area. Notary JensÂ’ body was not found. The only lead on his whereabouts is this letter from Factor Charae of the Mercykillers:
