The badly wounded body of Mathias Greymane is brought to the Barracks by a group of Harmonium and Mercykillers.
They are followed by several angry citizens booing the Harmonium and shouting "For shame!" and similar slogans.
The citizens are blocked at the entrance though.
Upon recognizing Mathias, the desk officer sends a messenger to find Cratten Erroc.
The charge given is an unwarranted attack without proof of identity or guilt on a citizen.
As the Mercykillers leave one of them can be overheard to say "That one is either for the goal or the gatehouse". The other Mercykillers laugh finding the comment highly amusing.

Cratten would head to the entrance desk and take Mathias to questioning room right away, then request a full report from the officers that brought him in, lastly move to the questioning room to look for Mathias

"I was executing your warrant, Raven wouldn't come, so I resorted to force, then some pirate looking bastard chived me from behind. As for the crap about no proof of identity, I know damn well what the woman looks like, hell, Hildmor introduced us on my second day in Sigil. Some dumbass newbie Mercykiller stepped in and made a fuss about the warrant, which he was given a copy of, and still ignored. Both Raven and the Mercykiller demanded that I show evidence, which as I recall, during an arrest, I don't need the evidence, it's to be presented during interrogation. Or did I wake up in some alternate reality where everything works ass backwards?"

Mathias is called into a meeting with a superior.
"Lad, you may have heard that your mentor has left the Harmonium under a cloud.
So, ill just give you a few pointers. We are here to work with the people to make a better place for all, to bring about the golden harmonium we seek. This means dealing with situations with tact and diplomacy at times. The same goes when it comes to working alongside our brothers in the Mercykillers.
I heard you referred to Ivan "The Wall" as a newbie? It sounds like a derogatory term, but i can assure you, Ivan is a highly respected Mercykiller with a good understanding of protocol, especially in such situations.
You would have done well to follow his lead. He has never failed to bring in a criminal, and working with him could have gained you some reputation with both us and the Mercykillers.
Instead...."
He spreads his hands showing nothing.
"The arrest of Raven is now in the hands of the Mercykillers. Should you see her again, you are under a direct order not to confront her. You are to avoid her. Call for the Red Death to handle it and bring her in, is that clear?"
"Your arrest has given you a black mark young lad, be sure you get no more. You may return to your duties."
