Please forward this to your superiors as you see fit.

Esteemed Harmonium,

My name is Nero Urbane and IÂ’ve resided within your city for approximately one month now. Of all the truths IÂ’ve learned during that time, few are so blatant as the HarmoniumÂ’s desire to accord peace for all, and their constant struggle against seemingly insurmountable odds to achieve that peace. Every day in Sigil is rife with disturbances that range from petty burglary to heinous murders, and while I recognize your organizationÂ’s ability to battle through it all and ultimately achieve your goal for multiversal benefit, I also recognize that a little help can go a long way. To that spirit I humbly submit my services for review and consultancy purposes.

For the last five years IÂ’ve operated as a lawful investigator in the Eberron city of Sharn, a city that may lack SigilÂ’s singularly eclectic culture, but is comparable in scope, diversity, and crime rate. During that time I maintained a successful liaison with the local publication, the Sharn Inquisitive, and the Sharn Watch in order to properly investigate mysterious crimes and see that justice was brought accurately and swiftly. During my brief tenure in Sigil I have engaged in several minor Hive crime investigations and have seen to it that certain perpetrators were brought to the local Harmonium agentÂ’s attention. I would like to formalize our tandem efforts and equally benefit our parallel struggle for peace and justice.

I propose a formal consultancy and deputation contract between us. In the spirit of honesty and good faith, I recommend that Harmonium Measure Alathra Blackthorne be assigned as my personal liaison to observe my honest intent and adherence to the following agreements. 1) I will inform the Harmonium of any public crime related investigation to which I employ myself. 2) I will include my assigned liaison in all investigative exercises as to not preclude sensitive case data. 3) I will discontinue investigations into any crime deemed necessary to do so. 4) I will lend my investigative expertise to the Harmonium as they request it.

In return I would like agreement of cooperation, case data access, and notarization allowing me access into Harmonium restricted premises should the need ever arise. Your organization and I are working for the same thing, and I see no reason why we must work separately. I look forward to your correspondence.

Sincerely,

Not signed, but written by he indicated above.
