Mara walks into the offices.
"I need to be arrested. I.." she pauses "attempted murder". She looks distraught as she offers her hands to be cuffed. "I confess it. I tried to kill a child. It was saved by adventurers. Real ones. Take me in and do what you have to"

There would be a sealed letter, delivered to the harmonium. It appears to be a note, emblazoned on parchment that seems to be made of Paper-Thin Platinum. The writing upon the parchment seems to have been etched by the clawed hand of a large, yet graceful creature.
The note reads:
"This Halfling did what she felt was necessary to preserve the intricate balance of the Cosmos. The very fabric of reality was threatened by a Child who could not control the power within as it nearly burst.
My name is Zaphikiel the Wise: Archangel of the Heavens, protector of Children. While this Halfling's actions were regrettable, there are unfortunately times in this universe that a necessary evil must be taken. Please, consider these actions before you judge her too harshly. Know that what she did, she did to preserve us ALL..." Her actions, though regrettable, were done to prevent great tragedy. Very few have the conviction to do what she felt had to be done to save innocent lives. The personal torment she shall inflict upon herself shall be sufficient punishment...she needn't suffer more.
If you truly consider yourselves keepers of the Peace, then know this halfling sought to bring that peace. She brought harmony from chaos, she sewed a potential catastrophe into new hope for a child whose power sought to be her undoing.
I leave this to your judgement.
--- Zaphikiel the Wise.

Notary Kour adds her take on the matter to her fellow Harmonium:
"The halfing Mara attempted to kill the child as a matter of necessity. The child was a living instability that was a risk to everyone around her, a risk that I regrettably chose to heal when Mara had brought her harm.
I could not bare to see any life harmed under any circumstance, it would defeat the point of our order regardless of any intention behind it.
It was for that reason I felt sorrow for Mara. I fear that what ever drove her to commite such a deed likley drives her even now to act on what is easy, not what is right.
Despite this, I feel we should give her but one chance to redeem herself. She does not deserve a criminal punishment but the pity and guidance to understand the difference between what is right, and what is easy."
