Reina sends off a letter to whoever her immediate superior is, in addition to a copy of a written testimony from a Bleaker Factor.

"Over the past two cycles, an investigation has been made into Bleaker Factotum Ivon Talbonsim's seemingly strange behavior after a tip to do so was received. With co-operation from Factor Amir Neath, and two lower ranking bleakers Fritz and Caex, we have received evidence of Ivon illegally kidnapping an as-of-yet unknown number of criminally insane patients and taking them to off-site locations for his own purposes.

I believe he may be a flight risk if left unattended, and to have this physical evidence released from Bleaker archives to us, we require a warrant for his arrest as well as a warrant for search and seizure, so as to search through Ivon's personal belongings and properties for further evidence."

Reina eventually recessives a copy of the official warrant. Before handing it over, however, the officer delivering it holds it back, giving the Notary a stern look.

"Mover Stig isn't too thrilled with what all he's been hearing about the chaos in the Fortune's Wheel, Notary. Been a complaint that you tried to arrest without an warrant, AND that you were using planewalker thugs to rough them up."

The officer then hands off the warrant.

"This isn't the Free League. Watch your step, or next time no one's covering for you."

She grimaced upon hearing the news, nodding nonetheless.

"My mistake entirely, I apologize. I will be more careful as to who my companions are and what they do during future investigations, as the assault was wholly unplanned and uncalled for."

Having conducted the interrogation and search and seizure both, Notary Reina found some patient records that heavily pointed to flagrant, longstanding abuse of the Courts and Bleaker facilities both in addition to the kidnapping charges- Xavier Salt would secure an insanity plea for his defendants, and Ivon Talbonsim would "check up" on some patients for a mere few days with little actual work being described in the patient records, after which he would release them from the gatehouse and back onto the streets scot-free..

After, she looked into the "off-site facilities" listed on patient records within Ivon Talbonsim's home, which turned out to not be official bleaker hospices at all- instead, she found them to be thug-run, very-likely-anarchist hideouts of some sort within the Hive ward.
After having sneakily tailed a suspicious, orcish individual flanked by thugs that exited one of those facilities to the B&J, she saw a messenger speak with the Orcish individual, and confronted the messenger outside. There, she learned that the boss-looking Orc was one "Odak Glyphwreck", and he'd just sent word to kill off every single one of Doctor Talbonsim's illegally kidnapped and lobotomized patients after learning that the Triad was indeed onto them.

Immediately after learning of such, Reina flew from Hive to Lady's as quickly as possible, rushing through the Barracks to inform her superiors so that they might take the best course of action before all those patients were murdered and covered up entirely..

It was uncertain whether it was her superiors sharing her concern for the lives at stake, or the Barracks on a whole being eager for this seemingly sure fire shot at taking down Salt, that led to such quick action. Whatever the reason, units were assembled in near record time, and deployed towards the three identified safe houses.

Reina was placed under a superiors command for these raids. On the bright side; Measure Caleb Le'quin seemed unconcerned about either her fiendish appearance, or her Indep past.

Under Le'quin's command, Reina and her comrades found themselves raiding the compound noted in the Doctor's files as the "3rd Street Hospice". Going by the evident surprise with which the Harmonium caught its inhabitants, it seemed the little satyr had not yet alerted them to the situation. Whether the same held true for the other two compounds remained to be seen.

Needless to say, the thugs manning the compound did not give in quietly, and drew steel as soon as the Harmonium unit barged in. It mattered little, however, for these were goons wielding what scrap they could find, facing down soldiers clad in crimson mail. There was one among them who wielded imbued arms, but he was little match for the martial prowess of the fiendess.

As the struggle died down, the sounds of agonized moans could be heard, coming from the lower sections of the building. Down bellow, in the musky cellars, the officers found a horrific scene; scores of malnourished wretches, chained to worn beds. All of them had a part of their heads shaven, the bald spots sporting ghastly wounds that were crudely stitched and dressed. They seemed to take no note of the Harmonium's presence, instead wailing in agony, or simply laying in a catatonic state.

In the other rooms above, messages and cache's of weapons - most crude, but some imbued- were also recovered, along with alchemical supplies, the purposes of which would need to be determined by an expert.

After the raids, a seemingly exhausted Reina would put forth written requests for the patients to be released back to the Bleakers to see to their wounds and wellbeing, on the condition that any relevant evidence found in doing so was conveyed to the Harmonium to put against Ivon and Salt's case.

Additionally, she would ask for permission in delivering all of the findings thus far to one "Kaltia Tsaryov", claiming that she was a keen Guvner who had been preparing beforehand and would stand the best chance of keeping Salt from wriggling free of any charges levied against him.

Both of Reina's requests are met with no small amount of skepticism at first. It was quite clear that her comrades held no special trust for the Bleakers or their abilities. However, misgivings about the Cabal did little in the face of the reality before them; most of these patients were addled, either from before or after their horrific surgeries. In the end, the Notary was told to arrange for a Bleaker to review the mental states of the patients - currently being kept under care and watch at the House of Healing in the Clerks Ward- , after which such a release might be considered.

Kaltia's name, likewise, seemed to generate unease. There was some quiet grumbling among Reina's colleagues, though most of what was said seemed to be conjecture and hearsay. Someone posited that they heard she was a slaver behind that old Skin Slasher case, while someone else seemed to think she was a criminal mob boss. No one seemed to have any -actual- facts behind their words though, a point which ultimately had the Measure in charge simply shrugging, and telling Reina that she was at liberty to discuss the case with the Guvner, provided all paper work was in order.

While not being too openly frustrated with the Harmonium's thumb twiddling with the Gatehouse's patients having taken so long, Fritz responds to the call for a doctor to see to the victims of Talbonsim's mad experimentation. He brings his heavy doctor bag along for the ride.
