Notary Reina wasn't so new as she once was. Her next promotion-to-be would secure her into the ranks of the Measures, and though she thought this exciting, something had been gnawing at her for some time.

The Red Sigil incident had brought much in the way of change. Losses were suffered on all sides, and for the real Sigil she had come to know, primarily these losses were suffered on the Harmonium side- as they were the chief faction to make outstanding effort in fighting the Red Dawn. And yet in spite of these losses, the Sigil branch decided to break away from the formidable might and backup that Ortho would surely give. At the time, Reina had little to do with the triad, and nor did she think too highly of them, having witnessed how some Hardheads had demonstrated and abused their power in the city square before- but in the wake of the war, something had changed, and the Sigil branch of the Harmonium was altered in ways not so apparent.

Having seen what amounted in her mind to "what they were truly about", it inspired her to abandon the indeps and join up not long after. But even now, having served for months, she had heard nothing of what spurned this change, nor anything about what it meant for the Harmonium's outlook. She had assumed that it meant they had seen the error in conquering the 'verse as a means to achieve the Golden Harmony; but this was an assumption, and nothing more. Throughout her service to the faction, she had attempted to embody the core of what she thought the Harmonium stood for- and though she had her failings along the way, the reasons behind which were promptly beaten out of her psyche by her fellow factioneers, and she emerged with stronger beliefs that wouldn't be easily swayed for it.

But even still, there were important answers in regarding all of the faction that nobody seemed to have, or speak of- and she would try her best to obtain them. In her day to day, whatever idle chat happened between Reina and her fellow Harmonium members would be periodically probed "out of curiosity", seeing if anyone- from the lowly namers she treated with no less respect than anyone else, to the more experienced veteran officers whose devotion and example all but demanded respect- knew as to why the breakaway happened or what it meant for their faction's philosophy.
