Escaped!

Sana gets up and immediately looks around, trying to find those she spotted before or anyone that looks out of place. Her eyes scan the crowd as she look for anyone that seems to giving or receiving directions to a small group.

Asoka dashes over the rooftops, jumping over gaps, once slipping, almost falling but finding her balance again in the last second.
Arriving at the alley she finds some kind of manhole. It looks like it has been covered with razorwine up until recently, the cut off tendrils still nearby.

Raena sends of some arrows... the first of her targets whirling around to deflect the shot with a smooth gesture of her hand. The second target of hers is hit right between his shoulderblades, the flames engulfing him as he falls down screaming.

The third one misses, the fourth did almost hit but it seems it was deflected by some magic?

They continue to run, not looking back at their wounded companion who rolls on the floor frantically, trying to put out the flames.

Sana still sees the group that gathered around the wounded man, she also sees Asoka tumbing over the roofs, risking her health and neck in this pursuit.
There is a scream and one of the four fleeing prisoners down there bursts into flames, the rest heading out into the Lady's Ward.

Asoka steps off the side of the building and drops the distance to the alley floor. Her expertise as a Monk permits her to fall any distance so long as she can make contact with the wall beside her now and then. She immediately grabs the manhole cover and attempts to open it as quickly as possible.

With a whistle she sets the wolf to the task of inning the wounded man and sge takes aim at the woman who deflcted her shot. She pours all her concentration into the next shot ensuring it is not deflected.

The wolf is on the man quickly, pinning him down with a snarl and the wounded convict freezes not longer in the shape to fight or resist.

Raena's next shot is well aimed and hits the woman's thigh and with a yelp she falls down, trying to prevent the flames that burned her flesh from spreading. One of the fleeing prisoners looks back this time- hesitates but then continues his escape.

Asoka lands beside the manhole and she realizes it has just recently be opened- the dirt in the gap between lid and ground has been removed and there are shiney scratches where dragging it over the ground has removed the rust.

Grabbing the cover she pulls up.

Asoka tenses and with some effort she lifts the cover off- something shattering as she does so. It seems the fugitive had tried to block the cover with some hardwood rod.

She realizes that this guy has some help, this whole escape had been well planned and prepared and as vile fumes rise from the hole she hears the sound of running water (?) from the darkness below.

Not as skilled as Raena with bow, Sana nonetheless takes a shot at the fleeing prisoner. She aims for the leg, trying to hit him in thigh to slow down his escape. After the shot, she lines up another to see if the prisoner falters or is still running

Asoka takes out a gem of brightness and fires a charge of light onto a piece of broken razorvine. She then drops it into the darkness and watches it fall. This, of course, is all done very quickly so time is not lost.

Seeing her target hesitate Raena decides to take action. His magical defences stopped one arrow, lets see how they did with two. She loaded a pair into her bow she did not bother trying to subdue him she had already fired a warning. One arrow is loosed at his head the other at his chest.
