The Chant: Mercykiller Edition

This is an IC-based rumor thread specifically for Mercykiller use by PCs, GMs, and/or in relation to a member of said Faction. It's contents are not known to any outside the Mercykillers unless obtained through appropriate IC means.

In recent cycles, an old Githyanki raider by the name of JiÂ’liÂ’kai turned themselves into the Harmonium, providing confessions and evidence for a hefty amount of crimes against citizens of Sigil. Tried by the Fraternity of Order, JiÂ’liÂ’kai was sentenced to indefinite imprisonment; yet, his delivery was waylaid by a group of Githyanki who slaughtered the Mercykillers present and quickly whisked JiÂ’liÂ’kai through a portal.

Mercykillers who would involve themselves in the recapture of JiÂ’liÂ’kai are urged to coordinate with Justice Grondan Deepglide.

A letter is sent by runner to be delivered to the office of Factor Dace of the Mercykillers by a Signer Namer, with faction seal.

Subject: Concerning Sigil Safety.

It has come to my attention that a member from a disowned sect refered to the Eaters has surfaced in the cage and has already placed an assault unpon myself and anyone within hearing distance.

This individual(s) in particular was dark skinned as burnt charcoal and white hair with a pair of sweeping horns, possibly identifying as a member as a tiefling asking about factional beliefs.

This was less then three days ago.

It was recommended to me that the Mercykillers have bounties upon these faith stealers and would have great interest if one showed its face again.

Factor Charae was in the middle of finishing up an acquisitions request for the Red Death's research and development sector when the report of JiÂ’liÂ’kai escape crossed her desk. She sent for Justice Deepglide and requested they bring all case files the Triad had on the escapee.

Word is that the githyanki has been recovered, and placed into the deep cells of the Mercykiller prison. The immediate case seems to be closed, though Mercykillers with sharp eyes are beginning to note that githyanki are becoming a common sight in the Lady's Ward.
