Factor Charae receives the request from the Harmonium and trickles it down the chain, pending acceptance from any parties within the Red Death interested in picking up the case.

She also directs her aide to place a fifty platinum cog bounty on the investigation to allow any private investigators to look into the disappearances, to be rewarded if thier contribution was significant enough to lead to the arrest/capture and prosecution of the offending parties.

Report came in from Arwyl Swan's Son
wrote:Two cutters came into the front desk with two bags of unknown items within. Reported as Katani La Calliwell and Surradio. Both private investigators and seeking to cash in the bounty of the kidnapping "frands" case. Both were paid twenty five merts.

However they insist it wasn't the pixies' doing at first, and the gnome's body was recovered, instead of alive.

"Items" recovered: A broken idol made from garbage. The remains of the gnome merchant. Two Xaos badges. One Adventurer's Guild Badge; bloodied.

Detainees: Two pixies. Both with Xaos badges. However, a bloodied Adventurer's Guild badge was found on an unconscious one. Both pixies were found in a haversack given by Surradio.

The gnome Thraybar's body cannot be handed over to loved ones given the nature of his death and as evidence until further notice. Next of kin has been notified.
- Thraybar's body was found within a cave in Undersigil. Of note: His body was being eaten by the group of pixies. However there is strange characters carved into his body. Investigator Katani remarked that they were of some sort of abyssal, or atleast looked very similar. Both investigators remark that other bodies within the cave had the same markings carved into their flesh. Dustmen are recovering their bodies now. A linguist will be contacted in hopes of deciphering the "text". The gnome has been placed under a repose.

Of the broken idol brought forth
- It seems to be made of garbage and taken on a shape that is not humanoid, or not quite a shape at all. However it has two distinct eye shapes, even amongst the broken pieces.

Of the pixies
- Both pixies have been treated with health care and assigned cells. Both seem dazed, and cooperative surprisingly, for crazed xaositects. A session with an arcanist was scheduled for a dispell on both of them. As investigator Katani remarked there was illusion magic within the cave they were found in. However one of our arcanists has found nothing on them through normal detection methods, and the dispell did not seem to affect the two pixies.
- Upon attempting to talk with them, they seem as addled as ever as with xaositects, but showing no violence. They however do not question how they ended up in prison.
