Justice Kierisen,
I spoke with David the beggar the other day as discussed.While I had little luck dissuading him from his current course (I suspect acts of Gods might have trouble with that task- he's an incredibly stubborn old bastard) it became apparent that he's not terribly fond of the sort of rebels who throw bombs at people to make a point either. I took the time to begin making a rapport, and I hope that it will bear fruit in the matter of identifying some of the more murderous rebels. I did not get any names in that conversation,so admittedly the matter is as much failure as success.

Recently,I was with namer Dace and some others, enjoying a drink at Khazeets bar when a rather confused young lady who later introduced herself as Varnia walked up,asking where she was. Upon seeing a local figure named Maelfina, a "Tiefling", she pulled an axe on her. We were able to persuade her to stow it; at which point she saw Teg, the Minotaur, and pulled her axe again. At this point, in order to prevent an incident, I "persuaded" her to stow her weapons and join us. I figure that a slight nudge in the right direction was preferable to her either ending up in the cells or as the paint du jour on Khazeets floor.

She actually fled afterwards, but I was able at least to prevent her from getting herself killed then and there. Arthur, one of the locals followed her and finished calming her down. Things seemed to work out well, since by the time I chose to retire she was going with Maelfina SixFingers to check out the forges with Arthur, and her axe stayed out of her hand. I merely prevented initial bloodshed. I shall continue to do my best to contribute to the cities peace.

( a question-since I'm often on when no one else is, or I miss events does anyone mind if I have her reports include things I would imagine happening during her shifts in the prison? To reflect the characters day to day existence and add some flavor to the faction?)

((I think the general rule of thumb is it's ok to have NPC related RP as long as it doesn't further your PC's standing, affect any DM events, or affect other PCs without their permission. Just general mundane stuff is usually ok as far as I understand.))

Justice Kierisen,
I wish approval for an idea I've had. Working in the Prison has opened my eyes to how much we focus on punishment, and how little we focus on providing options to those who could be redeemed. I ask your permission to assemble a program designed for convicted who possess potential for redemption. The point of the exercise will be to instill military discipline, fear of the law and life skills. I am willing to foot the initial expenses while we see if such a program could be effective. I have a list of potentials. If you approve I will see to some cell reassignments and the other logistics.
