After days of reports continuing to pour in regarding the Winter Courts attacks, Dace assigns lookouts to watch all known portals to the Beastlands- Karasutra in the Lady's Ward, Brux in the Clerks Ward and Krigala in the Lower Ward. Each one is to report back any movements or unusual activity around the gates. Should an attack occur or any direct action be required, combat squads are kept on standby to deploy and assist Harmonium and other mercenary forces fighting back in the area.

The following orders are issued to those squads on alert, as well as other Namers and Justices directly under his command.

As many of you are aware, there have been several attacks on Sigil conducted by elements of the Winter Faerie court. Lookouts have already been assigned to watch all known portals to the Beastlands in an attempt to discover any suspicious activity and identify where and when these raiders are coming.

All Mercykillers stationed in Sigil should remain on high alert, and be ready to assist our allies and civilians against further attacks. Be advised; these raiders are exceptionally well equipped and imbued by their lords. Avoid a head to head, close quarter engagement if possible, and do so only if civilians are in danger. Otherwise, rely on counter-ambush tactics and ranged weaponry, as the attackers seem to rely more on blades with some spell fire support.

Those squads who have been given orders to deploy as soon as the next attack occurs are also advised to requisition cold iron weaponry for the quartermasters.

Any other agents currently investigating the situation- or those who have any knowledge over the Winter Court- should contact me as soon as possible.

The lookouts are duly stationed around the three portals.

Namer Chelle Glover creates several constructs to aid the lookouts at each portal. Their watch is restless, which fills any gaps while the living lookouts switch shifts. Chelle sets them to raise the alarm first instead of engaging any conflict immediately.

Namer Chelle,

Excellent work on creating and deploying those golems. I imagine it will greatly improve the efficiency of our vigil without risking our personnel.

I'd suggest you forward an update on this measure to the Harmonium, so that they too know to listen for the alarm in case of another impending attack.

An update is forwarded to all agents currently assigned to the case.

One of the free agents investigating the matter has relayed information concerning the enemies movements. They are apparently employing Gatecrashers, and so are unlikely to keep using the Beastlands portals we know of for long. Namer Chelle's golem sentries should continue to report on movements along those gates, but be advised that the Winter court raiders movements are -not- confined to these paths.

There are reports of high activity today, As two dozen elf like fey make their way into Sigil escorting a blue elven women in expensive furs. The guards have commented on her undeniable beauty and some would even seem to be under some sort of charm effect from it. The group moves through the city peacefully unless stopped.

///feel free to rp a real time response.

As the procession has thus far not compromised security in the city, Dace issues no orders for the group to be harried. He does, however, issue the following missives to Justice Rozalina and Namer Chelle respectively.

Justice Rozalina,

I don't know how closely you have been following the recent Winter Court incursions in town, but there has been a strange development. A procession escorting a certain women of possible elven or fey lineage has been seen passing through the Sigilian streets. The fact that they aren't leaving a trail of bodies in their wake seems indicitive of them being on the side of Queen Mab or whoever else is involved, rather than this renegade Prince. However, rumors of her charming those around her- as well as the timing of her arrival- does warrant some surveylance, so I want you and any of your more capable Namers to handle that.

Watch this processions movements, try to determine what- if any- spells they are casting, and most importantly see if you can find any evidence of artifact trafficking. DO NOT assail the group unless they commit any major crime, or unless the Harmonium are in battle (in the latter case, try to diffuse the situation. The Harmonium proved a little too jumpy last time, and attacked the wrong group).

Remember; this group may be using charms and hexes, so prepare accordingly.

Justice prevail,

You may have heard of the recent arrival of a fey procession, escorting a woman who may be of either fey or elven lineage. If you have surveillance golems capable of some amount of discretion, I want you to task them to watch this group. Find out if any artifact is being moved, where they are going, and if they are committing any serious crimes in their passage.

Make sure your golems do -not- attack the group unless they initiate a fight, or unless Harmonium squads are engaged and need support.

Coordinate these efforts with Justice Rozalina.

A report comes in to Dace written far clearer than it would have been spoken

The scout golems in the lower ward alerted me to another fey assault, which I quickly responded to. Several planewalkers and some Harmonium guards were able to fight the fey back to the shipyards, but we were not able to stop them from stealing what they came for. Apparently they were after an "Orb of Dragonkind Gold" that is supposedly able to control gold dragons, their inferiors, and anyone else controlling a similar orb. The leader of the fey assault managed to flee into the wards, which my golems tracked to a portal to the Forbidden Plateau.

It is still unknown what the fey intend to do with the orb, but they now have the ability to control any metallic dragon within the orb's power, and the dragon Junathoraxus pointed out that dragons are known to take on humanoid forms. Until we know who holds the lesser orbs, we don't know who else may be under fey control, either. My golem scouts will be unable to continue watching for this elevated threat.

Dace stared silently at the reports from Namer Chelle and his other sources.

This was preventable. YOU stayed their hands. This is on YOU.

This fey nobles identity came in late, but its something the Factor was kicking himself for not knowing. More than that, he was curious as to why none of the other Factions seemed to recognize her...

His eyes turned next to the copy of the latest bazaar bulletin, written by a certain werewolf, calling for action against the Harmonium presence.

Well, not entirely on me... least there are other people trying to make this worse too...

He took a breath.

Focus...

Khelek Ba the Winter Fist... the name alone meant nothing to Dace. Too much time chasing fiends and Far Realmers, with not enough on the Fey, was turning out to be a costly misstep on the warlocks part. Still, here in Sigil there was more than enough material to catch up.

He sent for Namer Kotaro first. When the Hiromo's adopted ward arrived, he instructed him to go down to the Archives and gather up any and all materials the Faction had on the Winter Fey court, especially as pertains to the name Khelek Ba the Winter First.

"I don't care if its just an offhand remark about what shoe their servants were wearing on a given day, have every scrap of paper pulled up. I'll join you down bellow soon, but in the mean time, see what else you can find on this Court. I'll check in with the Fated records for any previous business this Khelek or prince of hers had in town.."

With that, he grabbed his cloak and hat, then headed for the door before stopping.
Oh right...Chelle...

Returning to his desk, he penned a message for Chelle.

Namer Chelle,

The enemies progress is disturbing, but you did all you could.

Who possessed the orb prior to the attack? Do we have any information on what that thing was even doing in Sigil in the first place? Try to learn what you can of that. I suggest consulting with Justice Shia, as she has some knowledge of artifacts and the like.

I will be speaking with a representative of the Fated soon to ensure clearance for all records concerning the passage of the Winter Courts agents in the last few years, as well as what they might have on the artifact or any others like it. While I do so, I want you to speak with a Fraternity Aide by the name of Xander Grail. Being part of the Triad, they should be more open to sharing information with us, so this should be a simple matter of asking. With his help, look through their archives and find out what you can.

Justice Shia is likewise appraised of the current situation.
