Having finished her work in the Prison, Charae receives an assignment from the Mercykiller headquarters in Acheron. She had started her career in the Mercykillers within the City of Doors and rose to the rank of Factor after a long and arduous career.
The dark elf felt that it was time for younger minds to take her place, to be given the opportunity to either continue what she had started or to let all they had worked for collapse. She wouldn't be around forever, after all. She was growing older and there were still a few things she needed to take care of outside of the Cage.
The assignment to headquarters meant she would no longer be working directly at the Prison and therefore wouldn't be involved in the goings on within Sigil save for the occasional holidays or long breaks she would take from command in Acheron to return to her home in the Lady's Ward.
