A New Hunt

A notice is posted in the prison, calling for Red Death agents with field experiance across multiple planes, as well as the ability to deal with arcane threats.

Those who approach the Factors office seeking to join the hunt would be given the following briefing.

Target Name: Karoamut mimut
Alias: The Gray Vizier
Race: Lich
Occupation: Wizard (Ninth Circle)
Affiliations: Athar

Crimes: Multiple counts of Assault, harassment, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, vandalism, destruction of property and evading arrest. More charges pending.  All crimes are thus far were commited within the city of Sigil.

Briefing:

Available Red Death agents are to be on the lookout for a lich by the name of Karoamut mimut , aka the Gray Vizier. An arrest warrant for him has been out for some time, but the Harmonium have thus far been unable to apprehend him or locate his phylactery. Any Mercykillers with experiance in dealing with such matters is encouraged to come forth and work with the Harmonium within Sigil to find and accquire the phylactery or- if possible- arrest the Lich. Note that the arrest is still currently within the Harmoniums juristiction, and so the prisoner must be handed over to -them- , along with any personal effects accquired. Once he is tried in the courts and found guilty, we will minister to him accoridngly.

Be aware that the Lich has been leading undead warbands in town on his hunt for a Signer VIP. These warbands are supposedly being drawn from NIelfhiem and the Gray Wastes entry in the Bazaar, though other means may be used.

Be cautious; the lich is an extremely powerful spell caster with reports of him employing remote vampiric abilities.

New information on the Renegade Athar case has come to us. I will be leading a mission to follow up. Any available agents ready and able to assist should report to me for debriefing. This will be a Capture or Kill operation.

Agents who assist in bringing this dead man to justice will be considered for promotion.

As the notice is sent, Dace begins sifting through some short listed names and hand picks a handful to join the strike team. Meanwhile, his secretary is assigned to arrange for non-standard issued (but equivalent quality) field equipment. Uniforms might complicate things where they're going...

A letter is penned and delivered to Factor Dace Andor. Though the letter is formally addressed and sealed with wax insignia, the scribed text within is far less pristine.

Karoamut reared his head again this cycle. Berk took the form of a (heavily-warded) troll to avoid detection in the Bazaar and promptly attempted to bite Argent's head off whilst in the company of Denae and Sharon at the Khazeet's bar. With the near-failed attempt, he was quick to return to his true form and bombarded the bar with spells of "Grease" and "Storm of Vengeance".

Several were harmed in the attack, including Khaz - you may wish to speak with him?

Vizier fled the scene with Dimension Door, though with him he took several strands of the elf's hair. Not sure if that's going to cause problems or not. Other witnesses include Rainrix, Esther, the fiend Untaramar and a celestial whom I believe went by the name of Shanna.
