A few days after the Battle of the Bazaar, Dace checked into the Prison as usual, and also as usual, went through the roster lists. This would normally be routine, except, because things couldn't be conveniant for once, he noticied an oddity.

Turned out a certain Namer Garrick Winslow had not reported in since the battle. Not KIA, just didn't show up.

His first thought was that the man abandoned his post, but then, he did sign up with certain issues. Wouldn't know for sure till someone caught up with the man.

So it would fall on two. He penned orders for both Justice Shia and Namer Daniss.

Justice Shia and Namer  Kyum,

Namer Garrick Winslow has not reported in to his training instructors since the battle in the bazaar, nor is there a record of his death. It could be that his 'portal amnesia' has kicked in again, that he ran into trouble of another kind, or that he's gone turncoat. Regardless of his situation, ensure his return to headquarters for debriefing.

Much time later as Shia and the Namer hadn't seemed to have any luck Justicar Leona would step in upon orders from Factor Andor. This was one of her own and she didn't like one bit that the investigation had stalled.

The first thing she would attempt to do is interview the MKs that were station with Garrick during the battle to try to figure out what happened to him during and post the battle.

She would ask about unusual behavior during the battle and as much detail as she could get about when where and how they last saw him. She would try to get a general idea of Garrick's state of mind during and after the battle to try to get even a hint where he might have gone.

With the Battle of the Bazaar so far in the past. Few remember what happened, but there are whispers of a bald man wielding a blade made up of pure energy. Rumour is that he gave chase to the retreating fey as they pulled back from the Bazaar. The last known sighting of him is in the Clerk's ward, the trail coming to a halt in front of the house of a stressed out tiefling dealing with a perpetual Celestial Badger infestation.

Leona would pen a report to Factor Andor

Factor Andor,

Garrick has been safety recovered and debriefed. While he was mistaken in his actions his intent was in the right place. His biggest mistake was forgetting his comrades.

Baring this in mind I would like him to be assigned the most smothering partner we can find. He should eat with this person, sleep with this person, and live more of his life with this person than he cares to. Then perhaps he won't be so quick to forget he has comrades.

Regards,

Justicar Leona

Some time Later, Dace pens a note for Leona.

Justicar Leona,

Send your mission report and the specifics of what Namer Winslow was involved in to his assigned training instructor.  I also give you leave to form a recommendation on whether or not  he should be required to complete his physical training period based on what you saw. He is, however, required to  continue with the remainder of his theory seminars.

I am also encouraged by your volunteering to eat, sleep and live more of your (un)life than he cares to share with him. I'm sure that he will benefit from your smothering him with such attention.
