Factor Dace Andor sat still behind his desk, a pocket watch in hand. The ticking of its hands and the internal gears of the nearby modrone 1200x4B0 made the only sound in an otherwise relatively crowded room of Mercykiller Justice's and a few select Namers.
Tic.....tic.....tic.... tic...
The shutter clicked over the modrones eye, momentarily breaking the silence.
Tic....tic....tic....
The warlocks gaze lazily shifted up to the door, as the distant sound of footsteps echoed down the halls beyond.
Closer....closer...
The sudden and hard knock on the door startled one of the newer Namers, who quickly composed himself, albeit with a sheepish look. With a nod from the Factor, a Justice moved to let the guest in.
A namer walked in, saluting the superior officers gathered. The warlock simply nodded slightly and looked at him, silently calling for his report. The Namer, in turn, reported with a shake of his head.
A malicious smile crept upon the warlocks features. He nodded once more, dismissing the messenger. As the doors shut, he looked up to his officers, gesturing to the files on his desk.
"As of today, every name and number in these files now faces an additional charge of insurgency, conspiracy and treason, through their affiliation with the Athar." The Factor gestured to the drone. "Namer 4B0 will assign each of you a set of cases. You will review them, take into consideration the Factols own expectations as noted, and minister to each accordingly.
Squeeze every single one of them for information on the Grey Vizier in particualr, but also on other Athar projects relating to temple sabotage and assassination." He pauses. "On or off plane... no reason to let them elude justice for crimes outside of the Cage."
